Lots of very good options that change out daily. The biscuits and gravy were great, as were the chicken and waffles. The chicken is all made from mushrooms and tastes sooo good. Lots of good side dishes as well.

Perfect lunch spot for road trip - Edit
Found this gem to stop over from Portland to Salt Lake. Super hungry and the food didn’t disappoint. The fried chicken (mushrooms), soul rice, Mac n cheese and fried cactus were awesome.

Great Soutern fried chicken - Edit
My partner and I got the southern fried chicken meal with Mac and cheese. Both were extremely tasty! The only thing to note is there was a limited menu on the day we went (Saturday). None of the fish options were available.

One of the best vegan meals I have ever had. If you’re local to Boise, do yourself a favor and go grab a bite to eat here. If you’re driving through Boise, stop on by. It’s right off of the highway in a cute venue and is all kinds of mouthwateringly tasty.

I'd like to write a more thorough review later but for now I just want to say this place is so delicious and I love eating here! It's part of my weekly friends lunch rotation ❤️ I often end up getting a full platter of sides and still wishing I could eat more of the menu 😅 I recommend Vegan Soul to everyone!

Best vegan Poboy I’ve had - Edit
I’m from the dirty South originally (Louisiana, in fact, WhoDat?!) where I was raised on poboys. So believe me when I say this is legit. Was a bit of a wait and it’s pricier than the ones I grew up on but totally worth it, and the owner is a peach, even if she’s from Alabama—so support her. Well done, Boise on a fabulous vegan spot.

I'd been wanting to try out Oh Vegan Soul for some time, and we finally made it tonight. Holy yum, talk about tasty! My carnivore son said the "chicken" sandwich was right up there with the best he'd ever had, and my po' boy was amazing! We sat at the bar and had some tasty drinks with our food. Even if it's a 30 minute drive for you like it is for us, it's worth it. Great night out. #Veganuary

We showed up for lunch on a Thursday. She had closed for lunch but when we told her we were on a road trip from Arizona she went ahead and took our order. I had the barbecue sandwich and my carnivore son had the poor boy. My sandwich was exceptionally delicious. Many places have great fillings inside of mediocre bread. Her bread was fresh, soft and tasty. My son was still talking about how good his poor boy sandwich was that night.

I’ve been here a few times now and nearly tried every item on the menu. My favorites in order are the vegan ribs, second is the burger, third is the fried chicken sandwich, 4th the tuna melt. My buddy’s favorite is the Tuna melt. All their sides are delicious too! The Mac and cheese and fried pickles were my favorites followed by the corn pudding. I have nothing but good things to say about this but place and the owner Mae is a sweet heart and great chef!
