Unexpectedly closed - Edit
(review from July 2023) I was very excited to try this place and had asked a family member to get us some food before our wedding the other week. The website and social media made no mention of the place being closed, but it was unexpectedly not open on that day. Not sure what happened. Hopefully i can try it next time we're in town

Comfort food so good!!! Happy for first 100% vegan spot in Pontiac!! I will be back anytime I visit the area! Those fries really be slappin! the sandwich I got was a Rueben but the meat was kind of crunchy..
Read moreUpdating I went again and my fries were different from before. They didn’t have the same stuff as first time, sauce missing so maybe they aren’t as consistent I’m not sure… you can see the pics both are loaded fries and look entirely different . the Philly cheesesteak was way too salty!!!!!! Idk I don’t go here often but whenever I’m in the area I will . I want to try more on the menu. I like the fries are hand cut but I haven’t found an entree that blew me away yet.

Seriously, I would give this restaurant 100 stars if it were possible! First time eating here, but it will definitely not be our last! The food was OUTSTANDING, and the staff were so sweet and friendly. They apologized for our food taking too long (which it didn’t, it was a very typical dining out wait for food) and gave us some sweets on the house. It was totally unnecessary, but so very much appreciated! I can’t even begin to say how much I loved it here. Friendly staff, phenomenal food, and just an overall great vibe! ❤️

Just in the area for a day and stopped in for lunch. They have a nice selection of salads, sandwiches and sides plus smoothies.
Read moreI had a BBQ jackfruit sandwich with a side of their Mac and cheese. BBQ was great, smoky, bread was crusty but soft inside. Mac and cheese was smooth and tasty.
Food portions were nicely sized as well!

Had Rueben sandwich and roast beef sandwiches and they were amazing!! Best sandwich dressing with horseradish and sauerkraut, respectively. Natural fries were delicious. We will definitely be back!

I live 40 min away , and have made the trip twice now . I have not had one bad meal here . I love the ambiance of the shop . You definitely get the family vibe there , as the employees/ owners kids are around . My one complaint would be , is they didn’t have dessert there as described . They have said twice now they ran out . If I were a business and would frequently run out of an item , and see the disappointment in a customer’s face , I’d start increasing my inventory. As a vegan we don’t get dessert often at a restaurant other than a sorbet . We will keep coming back here and supporting this business. Great quality , great options , and get ambiance !

I’m sitting here now and I am blown away. I got the Mac and cheese with bbq jackfruit and it is phenomenal! The tangy bbq sauce actually works SO well with the creamy cheese sauce. I’ve got my eyes on that cheesesteak as well…
Read moreYEP! The cheesesteak is the bomb. (Just to be clear, I saved the second half of the mac. The portions are pretty big, and I am only human) The steak seems like seitan, but it is thinner sliced (like an Arby’s roast beef sandwich) It is either fried or cooked somehow to a wonderful texture and piled high with peppers and really good vegan white cheese shreds on a very good brioche roll. One of the best vegan steak sandwiches I’ve ever had. Definitely.
The fries are very good, thicker cut steak fries. The oil they used is very clean. No seasoning on the fries besides maybe a little salt, but they don’t really need anything (other than ketchup)
Good, available seating at tables, free wifi, friendly staff. I am so pumped to find such an amazing vegan restaurant in this part of Michigan.

This is a family owned restaurant and I love this!! The place is super cute and has great energy, the staff is warm and inviting and fun. Love going somewhere where you know everything you get is vegan! Would love designated GF options on the menu but they were happy to accommodate! Love love love!

I enjoyed my food and visit so much that the least I could do was write a review as they are a new restaurant in the area.
Read moreStaff was so helpful in finding food that I could have due to a gluten allergy. Most of the "meat" is seitan but the "beef" is TVP (just made sure that it is not seasoned in soy sauce).
I got the loaded nachos which was really good. The owner personally made the "beef" for my lettuce wraps as it contains soy sauce~ she made it without.
The interior of the place has a trendy style but it's also comfy.
Overall, next time I am in the area this will be my go to as Detroit lacks in vegan restaurants.

My wife and I just finished an absolutely superb meal at Vegan Nova. Mine was a vegan reuben,, hers a falafel platter. Both were perfect! Can't wait to try other of her dishes.
