Name in English means Vegan Kitchen. Est. 2016 by a grassroots animal rights' activist. Serves simple, local vegan food as inexpensive as possible. Lentil soup and mixed plates are on the menu, in addition to many more. Convenient location which is 2 minutes from Taksim Square and right on Mis Sokak which is known both for its lively night life and also political scene. The size of cafe is small but it also has a balcony with two tables. Reported closed Sept 2017.

AND THEY HAVE COLD AND GOOD BEER!!! (Which is rare in vegan restaurants in Istanbul, in most of the places they don't sell beer at all.)

Make sure you go here! Delicious food and lovely people. Hard to find, up a few flights of stairs, but well worth it!

cheap and delicious! - Edit
Completely vegan restaurant hidden on the 3rd floor of an old building. Unconventional in the sense that there is no menu just when you rock up the owner will list a few things he has on the day. Very delicious and one of if not the cheapest vegan place in istanbul. Owner is very friendly with reasonable english and knows many vegan restaurants throughout turkey. Usually opens at 3pm but sometimes earlier. Closed on a sunday or monday. Try the seitan wrap or the disco cake!

Vegan Gem in Istanbul - Edit
This is a quaint little hole in the wall vegan place run by some amazing people on a mission to make authentic turkish food for the everyperson (and the everyperson's pocket). Had a great time trying everything on the menu and listening to the owner talk about his vision for the restaurant.

super delicious and inxpensive - Edit
I stayed in Istanbul for 4 days and since I found this restaurant in the second day, I did not want to go anywhere else. The Owner and staff are very very friendly, warm, and welcoming. They have a passion for veganism and you feel it from the first moment. The foods taste quite delicious and the atmosphere is so warm and friendly that you don't want leave there early. The prices are unbelievably cheap and sometimes you might even get an extra tee for free. This restaurant and its owner makes me come back to lovely living Istanbul again and taste the foods there with a great amount of passion.
