Read moreThe spot is original, features fun interior and a junky vegan menu.
I decided to get the pesto pizza, my friend had a breakfast smoothie bowl.
The dough of the pizza was very nice, super-fluffy neapolitanean style.
Beside the pesto there was also vegan cheese (most of the time not a big fan) on it and fresh tomato slices (not my favorite on a pizza, as it makes the dough soggy).
On the menu this items were not mentioned, but pistachios were, and there were non on the pizza.
Little disappointing.
But the dough was my savior 😄
The bowl was a little overpriced. Around 12€ and it was pretty much as thin as a smoothie and some fruit slices on top.
I’d have expected more structure and nicer presentation.
Therefore 4 stars.
Little adjustments here and there and this could have 5 star potential.

Nice vegan pizza - Edit
As the name suggests, their main focus is on the vegan junk food. I went there, first because was closest to my hotel and second because they had a vegan pizza in the menu, something that I like but very few vegan restaurants cook. I ordered pizza fungi, nachos and non-alcoholic beer. The pizza was really tasty and smelly (I know the trick - long fermentation of the dough), exactly as I like it.

Otherwise the restaurant is a rock band stile, more focused on youngsters (I am 60yo), but still I liked it. The staff was very polite, spoke excellent English as well. Will I repeat - definitely, when I again come to Munich.

Expensive, weird tasting food - Edit
The place looks awesome and the atmosphere is nice. That's about the only good thing I can say about it. We both had a ginger mint "lemonade", mine tasted almost exclusively like sparkling water, my friend's was so spicy and full of ginger syrup, you could barely drink it. The nachos were severely burnt at the edges, it said nothing about them being spicy but I unexpectedly bit into a jalapeno pepper that was hidden in the nacho pile and my mouth was burning for the next half hour!! The mushroom burger didn't taste like mushrooms at all and any store bought frozen fries you make at home taste better than the ones we had. Save yourself the trouble, any of the big burger chains (Hans im Glück, Peter Pane etc) make better burgers, fries and drinks. Plus it was kind of expensive.

We had a Pizza Margherita and the pulled pork fries. Both tasted very good. I would have loved to try a dessert but unfortunately the desserts weren't listed. The staff was very friendly and the vibe of the restaurant was awesome. The hot chocolate was pretty basic.

Wir waren bisher zweimal da und haben die "Tintenfischringe", Sandwiches, Pommes und "Pulled Pork" gegessen und fanden alles super lecker.

Read moreWe liked it overall. The burger was tasty, the pizza looked nice (but could be baked a bit more for my taste). Only one thing: The Pizza cheese was not to my taste. I'd describe it as big blobs of chewing gum. Was tasty when I split up the huge blobs, but after a while it was too much and I put it off the pizza. The pizza was delicious anyways.

We got the chicken burger, meatball sandwich, and pulled pork fries. All of them were very tasty and the portions were good too. The pulled pork fries came with A LOT of fries.

Der Fresh Burger war langweilig, die Zitrone kaum rausschmeckbar. Der Slamdance Spicy Burger war ok, zwar nicht spicy aber an sich ganz gut und die Pommes waren lecker. Die Getränke waren zu verdünnt.
Die Preise gehen auch garnicht, viel zu teuer für das was man bekommt.

They try too hard, the atmosphere is forced edgy. We got the Sleazed Salami Style Pizza (13,40€), the Slamdance Spicy Burger (14,80€) and The Fresh Burger (15,30€).
The pizza was not either looking, nor tasting good, the vegan cheese was white, lumpy and doughy, the vegan salami slices thick and dry, the pizza squashy and tasteless. The Fresh Burger was lame, no citrus taste. The Slamdance Spicy Burger was ok, not spicy tho but it was alright and the chips were tasty. The Drinks were watery.
The prices are way too high.

Read moreDer Laden möchte Punkflair, ist aber viel zu Hipster, die Musik passt absolut gar nicht und ist furchtbar. Die Bedienung war bemüht aber sehr unaufmerksam. Wir hatten Getränke bestellt und müssten dann lange warten bis wir Essen bestellen konnten, mussten dann rufen, damit jemand kommt (man habe gedacht wir wollten nur was trinken).
Der Latte war lau warm, fast schon kalt, die Maracuja Limo bestand überwiegend nur aus Wasser und Eiswürfel und hat minimal fruchtig geschmeckt. Die Toiletten sind so dunkel und haben nur ein kleines pinkes Licht, keine Seife und nichts zum Händetrocknen.
Das Essen war ziemlich fad. Ich hatte den Hot Dog und meine Freundin den Vishburger. Kohlebrot und pinke Soße haben das Essen nicht gerettet. Einfach nichts besonderes vom Geschmack her und dafür viel zu teuer.
Wir haben vorher schon gehört, dass es sich nicht lohnt, Geschmäcker sind aber verschieden und daher wollten wir uns ein eigenes Bild machen.
Schade. Leider nur 3 Sterne

The burger I had was good; the patty was great, but the bun was sadly only mediocre.
Read moreOn that evening there was only one waitress and the service was therefore rather slow.
I think it is a valid option if you are close by, but for me it is not really worth a long trip.

Da es jetzt die VJB auch in Düsseldorf gibt, empfehle ich in jedem Fall mal einen Besuch dort, um den Vergleich zu ziehen. 😄
Unseren Omni-Freunden hat’s im Junkhouse auf jeden Fall bestens geschmeckt!

Ich war leider etwas enttäuscht von dem Essen. Die Calamariringe haben absolut nicht nach Calamari geschmeckt, waren innen etwas zäh und auch die Mayo/ der Dip dazu war leider nicht mein Geschmack. Die Pommes waren okay aber jetzt auch nichts besonderes, eher lasch als knusprig. Schade!

Read moreIrgendetwas schien bei der Online Reservierung schief gelaufen zu sein, es war aber zum Glück nicht voll, sodass selbst im Aussenbereich noch ein Plätzchen frei war. Beim Cocktail gab's auch noch ein kleines Problemchen, das wurde aber schnell gelöst und kann passieren. Auf jeden Fall sehr cool, dass es hier vegane sahnige Cocktails gibt! 🙂

Cool vegan place with a special style. Nice atmosphere to eat, drink and relax. Large selection of vegan pizzas and burgers, plus some interesting extras. The spicy salami-style pizza was delicious. We also liked the calamaris and the lobster role, but note they are only named by looks not taste.
