Excellent turkish (home cooking) food - Edit
Family run place with tasty turkish home cooking food. Btw.: Many of those turkish home cooking dishes featured are vegan by nature. Those dishes which are originally not, have been carefully adapted. The selection (more than a dozen options) is all vegan. Been there four times now - always high quality food for reasonable money (three dishes for 20 and four for 25 YTL). With respect to those who are ranting about the fact that the food is being microwaved: They don't offer fast food. Most of those dishes take plenty of time time in preparation (e.g. the stuffed peppers, vine leafs, the eggplant moussakka or the red lentil balls...), so in - every - turkish restaurant (Lokanta) these type of dishes are being prepared daily (fresh) in the morning and then being offered throughout the day. And some of those dishes are traditionally being eaten cold. So, enjoy the great food for little money instead of expecting (food-preparation) hocus-pocus in front of you.

Great find. - Edit
A really friendly and welcoming place. The food was lovely and it was really nice to be able to try a lot of different things. The freezer section with mock meats and cheeses was also very appreciated as we were moving to a less vegan friendly place the next day.

Relaxed family cafe, great food - Edit
Run by a lovely veggie family, there is a choice of food on offer and you fill your plate with a small selection. They will talk you through everything they have and it's all very tasty. Very informal family atmosphere. There is a fridge where you can buy a whole load of vegan cheeses too.

Can we add it up to at least 6 stars?:D - Edit
Best vegan food in Istanbul!!!❤❤❤ food heaven! We've been here twice because the food is sooooo delicious and cheap. They offer a lot of options but mostly traditional turkish food, so if you re vegan and want to eat turkish, you definitely have to go there. We tried some of all that stuff (3 mixed plates), ordered also Kombucha to drink and afterwards some turkish teas and baklava. Its definitely the best!!!! Its such a lovely family restaurant. We ve never paid over 100 lira but gave much tip because they deserve it so much for the food and service. Total recommendation. If you dont go there, you ll regret it.

not the healthiest food, but delicious - Edit
I think generally the food is quite oily and therefore probably not the healthiest. But I guess that’s what makes it so tasty 😋

Eh - Edit
Food was decent however it’s a little frustrating when they get 2 things wrong with your order and makes you feel like they are not actually listening.

Fantastic - Edit
We came to Turkey all the way from Trinidad&Tobago. After a very long journey, this restaurant was such a blessing. We visited this restaurant like 4 or 5 times during our stay in Istanbul. The food is yummy and homemade. The people are like family and so lovely. They even have great savory snacks to take away (which we did, for our airplane ride back) 😍😍😍

An option for a vegan - Edit
The staff was very friendly, but unfortunately the food is not fresh and they use a lot (a lot) of industrialized ingredients, which compromises the flavor of the food. The teas were all spontaneous, the cake I ordered had a syrup on top that were pure sugar, no taste what so ever. It not fair to mark as home made, neither organic.

Good vegan options* - Edit
I went here twice during my stay in Istanbul, the price is cheaper than the other vegan restaurants. The food is homemade and tastes good. I would go again. The only downside, however, is that they microwave the food to warm it up.

Awesome - Edit
This little place is fantastic. Loads of choices, everything is vegan. No menu, just pick 3/4 servings, 20/25TL. We tried all of them over a few days, loved each one. The owner is lovely too, very passionate about her food. And she makes amazing cakes too. We had choc cake and brownie. Nice chilled place to hang out. There are also vegan cheeses, sausages and homemade seitan to buy too. The seitan is delicious by the way!

Good food - Edit
Good food, worthy of perhaps three stars. Could have been more flavorful but it's great to find a vegan restaurant in Istanbul so an extra star. Currently 25 Lira buys you a combination plate with four items of your choice in April 2019.

Won't return - Edit
Staff is friendly. But that can't make up for the below-average-food. Just really bland, tasteless, and not at all matching up the photos. Place itself looks messy, unorganized (we thought it was under construction but it wasn't) and unclean... which doesn't promise much for food hygiene. Won't return.
