Turned away during operation - Edit
Went here just to eat at this restaurant. The chef showed up 10 minutes after opening and then said he could not serve because the front desk lady was not in. We left after waiting 20 minutes. The hours posted are not the hours they actually operate. Do not come less it is 1 hour past opening time.

Great food - Edit
Went there yesterday and had their Philly Cheesesteak wrap, beef kofta, cookies and couple of cakes. Everything tasted delicious. Definitely recommended.

Good omelette - Edit
Kinda unmatched vegan menu. Still not used to the price of takeout in this city! But a filling, flavorful omelette.

Small eatery with limited seating to dine in. Food is always delicious. Their crunch wrap is a must-have!

Fair - Edit
Ordered a delivery. The food was ok-ish Instead of a maple syrup (which is what you order) you get a high fructose corn syrup - a bit cheeky. I'd probably order elsewhere again.

Total no no - Edit
My review is based solely on the service, or total lack of. Went in, person in the kitchen who could quite clearly see us. But despite standing at the counter for several minutes just ignored us. So we left. Even if the food is fantastic I wouldn’t want to eat there if they treat their customers so appallingly. Shame as we had travelled over 20 minutes to eat there. They need to sort out their customer service.

Filling vegan food - Edit
This is a cramped, non-fancy venue. Their uptown branch is roomier than this one and seems to have more choices, as I recall. I had a quinoa bowl today, it was filling, if not quite imaginatively prepared. In retrospect, I should have chosen a more fast-food-like item, since that seems to be what they specialize in. The prices are not all that cheap here, and frankly, there are a bunch of other, better vegan places nearby. Still, I am happy to see any place with the word "vegan" in its name.

So-so - Edit
The crispy chikn wrap was super tasty. Chocolate shake was overpriced, and had the consistency of chocolate milk, thin and not shake-like at all. Very disappointed with the shake, since it was recommended to me, and at 12$ for 12oz of "chocolate milk", was basically a waste of money on chocolate milk garbage. Regretful.

Great food, NO BATHROOM - Edit
I order delivery from here to work all the time but just went to the storefront for the first time. It's a tiny spot with NO BATHROOM, so I had to go elsewhere this time because I needed one!

Solid - Edit
We had the creamy Alfredo pasta. It’s a classic favorite for us, but has been hard to find good and vegan. This place had a solid vegan version. We would have preferred a option with no chicken(less cost) but the chick’n wasn’t bad, just not our thing for this.

Alfredo my love - Edit
I love Alfredo pasta‼️‼️‼️the shock I experienced when I had my first bite of their Alfredo pasta like that’s literally what I rmbr growing up w (in my embarrassing years as a vegetarian). But yeah I love Alfredo pasta and yes I can cook a creamy pasta but what were they putting in this bc it wasn’t just creamy pasta this was ALFREDO PASTA they rly nailed it. Garlic bread was not garlic bread (it was toasted bread) but all is forgiven bc the pasta was so creamy.

Tasty (but pricey) - Edit
1st time here. If you are driving, there is metered street parking available. Friendly service. I ordered BBQ Cauliflower Wings. Crispy, tiny, deliciousness. Portion size was small considering price. I ordered Buffalo chicken wrap - tasty, good portion size, pricey. Crunch wrap is touted as a customer favorite - easily became one of mine. Crunchy and tasty. Good portion size (also in the pricey side). Overall good food. I would come again … just be prepared to pay because it’s a little on the pricey side.

but it was a bit disappointing. It was okay, however there are definitely better options to get good vegan food for a better price. #Veganuary

Great little vegan hole in the wall - Edit
First off: friendliest customer service I got in Manhattan during my stay. Shoutout to Jordan and the other guy (I feel bad I forgot his name my bad)
Read moreThey recommended I go with the crunch wrap and so I did, twice, back to back nights
I got Mac N Cheese the second night which was very tasty but definitely something to split with someone else
I got a milkshake the first night, which I was a little disappointed with bc it wasn’t the right consistency. The second night I got two peanut butter cookies which proved to be much better than the milkshake.
It is a little pricey, but what do you expect from a vegan joint in Manhattan in the East Village?
Pros: Big menu, Friendly staff, Cozy, hole in the wall vibes
Cons: NYC Prices

Good, could've been better - Edit
Expensive (but on par with vegan food). My husband loved his Buffalo chicken wrap and we enjoyed the vegan/gf mozzarella sticks. I ordered vegan chicken parm pasta and was very disappointed. The sauce was very sour/acidicy. The place its self is small, but cute. It was dirty and could've used a good wipe down for sure. Overall, I think it's good, but I've had much better vegan food!

Pretty tasty - Edit
Expensive but delicious food. I’m grateful for beyond meat and the impossible burger in non vegan restaurants but would prefer if completely vegan restaurants would make their own beef substitute. They both have weird aftertastes to me.

Tasty food, amazing staff - Edit
The wrap I had was super tasty and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were crispy. Carrot cake I shared with friends was amazing. It's not a huge piece but rich enough that having a bite is enough. The person working was extra nice. I can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu. I am puzzled by some of the bad reviews. Did we go to the same place?

A lot of options, but a bit expensive a slow for what it is - Edit
Lots of options, so I cannot speak to everything on the menu. I got the cauliflower wrap. It was fine, but was fairly expensive for the portion/quality and took a long time. The other picking up orders appeared to have been waiting quite a while as well.
