Lifestyle tour - Edit
Done the lifestyle tour last weekend. Focused on veganism, and not just the food but what else is involved. Enjoyed it, plenty of time in between for snacks and drinks. Good and enthusiastic guide, highly recommended!

Brilliant idea, brilliantly executed - Edit
This tour is amazing. Great food, great stories about the entrepreneurs and the city, great new insights for some in the group and great guides. Now also in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Guaranteed that I will do those as well at some point.

A fun way to discover vegan spots in Utrecht - Edit
We did this tour some time ago. It was great fun. Our guide showed us around the (many!) vegan spots in Utrecht and told stories about the venues and their owners as well as about Utrecht in general. The group consisted mainly of non vegans. They were all very happy with the tour and the food. Do try this with your non vegan friends!

Wholeheartedly recommended! - Edit
After doing an awesome Rotterdam walk with this organization I decided to do all three of them - this means, do the Utrecht and Amsterdam walks, too. So, this was my Utrecht walk - again wonderful food, a nice tour through the city (with interesting information about he city as well as the venues visited) and wonderful people. This walk should be done by everybody interested in vegan food who visits or lives in Utrecht. And for me: next stop Amsterdam.

So much fun, and awesome vegan food - Edit
Had an excellent time biking around Utrecht with our guide, Tessa. Got to see more of Utrecht than just the city centre, and tried restaurants that I wouldn't have otherwise gone to. Much more comfortable cycling in this city with a guide.
Read moreEach restaurant had something different to recommend it, and we learned a bit about the history of the restaurants and Utrecht.
Our guide also works for a vegan non-profit, so it felt like a real VEGAN tour (not just a plant-based tour).
Pros: Got to try many different restaurants , Had a fun vegan guide, Got to cycle through Utrecht

Perfect bike and food pairing! - Edit
7 vegan restaurants in 4 hours, biking at a good pace in between, this tour is perfectly balanced! The cuisine styles varied so there was something for everyone. Almost every restaurant had a drink to offer with your tasting which was lovely. I would do this tour again for sure!

Fun with Lots of Food - Edit
We had a great time with Pippa. We led us skillfully around Utrecht and took us to several restaurants. We were served promptly at all of them and enjoyed the food very much. I had the best pastry I've ever tasted at Life's a Peach!

A great and fun way to explore new vegan restaurants in Utrecht, on our bikes, with Ellen, our guide. We had a lovely time. Afterwards, because we didn't want to stop, we went to another vegan spot to eat desserts

A different afternoon in Utrecht! - Edit
The tour is amazing! I heard about food tour as concept, but I never participated at one. I discovered this and I joined because is always difficult to find good vegan or vegetarian bar/restaurant in a non-familiar city. We visited 7 places in which the food was amazing, and they are not only vegan friendly, but they are also sustainable in different ways. The guide not only brings you to the places, but also tells the history of them, and she also gives you a tour of the city, but not the mainstream one! In conclusion, well recommended!
Read morePros: New good restaurants to try, A nice tour of the city, A lot of food for the price you pay

Vegan food tour Utrecht. - Edit

Simply wonderful - Edit
The vegan Food tour was so much fun and an incredible way to try different foods, visit vegan spots in Utrecht and meet like-minded people. We were in an all vegan group (which was quite rare apparently) and got to chat with two vegans from the USA, incredibly interesting to share experiences and talk about the differences and similarities in (vegan) culture. The guide was very nice and enthusiastic. I can't recommend this experience enough to everyone. They also have a bike tour with different locations, so we will be coming back!

Great way to discover the city!
Read moreWorking in Utrecht, and being quite up to date about the vegan restaurants I doubted for a very long time to do this tour.
I saw it highly recommended by other locals and was convinced to try it out.
Only been to one new restaurant but our guide Jacqueline was great and told us many fascinating stories about the restaurant (owners) and the city. We also discovered some beautiful green gems in the city and beautiful art work.
We will come back for the bike tour and the other tours in other cities.

professional, respectful, informative, sportive, enjoyable and delicious - Edit
I did The Vegan Foodtour for the second time on Sunday, June 2. The guide led us enthusiastically. In my opinion it is really worth the money. The whole afternoon we discovered delicious food and unknow places in the city. The guide shared info that is less known or mainstream about the city. One restaurant was closed due to unexpected circumstances. This did not affect the quality of the tour due to the connections and creativity of the organization. They arranged an other restaurant for replecement, so the route had to be adjusted, this all went smoothly. The snacks we received were tasteful and I skipped lunch and dinner because I was totally satisfied. You will also be respectfully informed about account the impact of consuming meat on animals, your own health and the environment. The guide shared her considerations to vegan lifestyle and isn't pushy that you should become a vegan yourself. If you like you can take part of a quiz while walking, which lead to more knowledge about the impact of a vegan lifestyle and on the other hand the impact of meat consumption. The walking pace is easy, not too slow and not too fast and there were places to sit and enjoy every now and then. A honorable gesture is the fact that the organization also sets aside a euro of your paid ticket for impact tours, so that going on their tours is not just something for people who have enough to spend. Prior to the tour itself, you’ll receive an email to inquire about possible allergies, etc., and you’ll receive a reminder a day in advance, which is always useful. Afterwards you will receive an overview by email of the restaurants you have been to, so that you can return there again. I would definitely recommend this tour. In fact, I'm considering doing the bike tour as well. Mabe in the future, a nice plan to visit the other cities where the tour is at.

Tourrific - Edit
Daisy was a great guide. She was knowledgeable about the restaurants and the city. I appreciate that she gave the tour in English, and explained Dutch customs and words. The professional-looking booklets were educational and promoted veganism without being pushy. We sampled food and beverages at seven restaurants. My partner and I returned to one for dinner right after the tour!

Great food, great people, great city - Edit
So grateful to Patrick and Pippa for their helpfulness in ensuring we had a great time in Utrecht. The food (and drinks) were so tasty and fresh and it was clear a lot of thought had gone into creating the tour. Portions and distances covered were just right. We had a fabulous time - despite the unpredictable weather! - and enjoyed the cocktail at the final stop so much that we ordered another! Could not possibly choose a favourite item or venue - all top notch.
