Vegan Food in Kantharalak! - Edit
I have been coming to this area of Thailand for a long time because my brother lives here and we've always struggled to find places to eat without just doing the usual customisation of regular Thai dishes. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this new place off of the side of the road, just after the turn off to Tesco.
Read moreAlthough it is a very basic Thai place they do actually unusually cook food to order. No buffet (which is normally cold) and a long list of dishes to choose from. I don't know if English is spoken as we only spoke Thai to them but she did say 'vegan' in English language.
There is no dairy or egg used in the food but I noticed some condensed milk cans at the back which I guess is just for the coffee since dairy is not used in Thai cooking.
Egg might be available on request but were not on the menu.
Not sure if any tourists will ever come to this place but hopefully someone might find this listing useful like we did.
Food was decent and it was so cheap it was almost free. :)
Pros: Only vegan places for miles, Very cheap
Cons: Basic place, Uses faux meat
