Great food at amazing value - Edit
Tasty, big portions and reasonable prices. Great find. The mac cheese and garlic bread was particularly amazing. Also the cheesecake was possibly the best vegan cheesecake I've ever had. All homemade too.

Lovely Vegan food - Edit
Having discovered Vega whilst visiting between lockdowns (therefore closed) we were thrilled to now be able to dine in 😁
Read moreAlthough we hadn't booked, Edwina kindly found us a table and we enjoyed a lovely meal in good company.
Food was lovely, plentiful and very clearly fresh (both in ingredients and presentation). There was such a great selection for such a small establishment, and for one person to prepare whilst also running front of house.
Can't wait to return ❤️
Pros: All Vegan, Intimate venue, Personal service
Cons: Small so can be too busy unless you book

We stopped here for lunch. We ate wayyyy too much. A great choice on the menu. The falafel, onion bhaji and lasagne were particularly good! The warmed chocolate cake for desert was lovely. We also got the peanut butter cheesecake to take away which was fantastic.

Caters for food allergies too - Edit
We’ve popped in for a chickpea curry and onion bahjis. The food was amazingly delicious. The portions are big so be aware. Oh and the elderflower fizz is to die for. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating as I have multiple food allergies which doesn’t make eating out an easy task. Highly recommend

Are you one of those vegans that everyone knows just how vegan you are because you wear it on your sleeve with passion? Well this is like that but a vegan cafe. Veganism is plastered everywhere with vegan leaflets and books as well as amazing vegan foods and even homemade treats.

Fully vegan, a rarity in Cornwall! Friendly service and good honest food. We had the Buddha bowl and a chickpea curry. Other options were lasagne, falafel, chilli and pasta dishes. Different menus at weekends and specials too. The peanut butter cheesecake was scrummy!

Lovely friendly vegan restaurant - Edit
We took our family of three children here on Sunday afternoon and it didn’t disappoint! The sharing platter of starters was tasty and offered both hot and cold small plates including Spanish meatballs in a tomato sauce and a tasty beetroot dip and pitta bread.
Read moreThe main courses we had were lovely too. Especially the lentil and chickpea curry with homemade chutney, it was delicious and polished off by all three of my little ones.
The staff were friendly and attentive and it made such a lovely change to be able to choose from a whole menu not having to ask what was vegan!
They had an incredible dessert menu too, but we were too stuffed to fit any in!
Pros: Loads of different choices, Varied Dessert menu

Sensational - Edit
Stumbled upon this gem of a place literally on the way to the car park. Sadly too far from home to be a regular haunt but a total recommendation to tourists. I have never tasted better plant-based food. The couscous was divine. My partner had curry which she loved. I had lasagne. Never ever tasted better lasagne. The food made me so happy I could have wept. Yes it's that good. Lovely service. You must go if you get the chance !

The perfect midday break while walking the SW Coastal Path - Edit
VEGA SEEMS TO BE OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK - but maybe worth a phone call first to check.
Read moreLooking for a healthy lunch in July 2021 when walking on the South West Coastal Path we left the path to walk through Tintagel high street, at first there are the usual bog standard touristy unhealthy places to eat but within a few minutes you find the refreshing 'Vega' still on the main street on the left hand side. It was a sunny day and there were tables inside and outside, the lovely lady owner was so helpful and although we arrived before opening time we were invited in and had a large portion of Curry, home made chutney, home made elderflower fizz and Tea - we were too full for puddings but there were several to choose from. Everything was wholesome and healthy and prepared skilfully by the owner who is passionate about quality eating and being kinder & mindful to our world.
Pros: Very reasonable price

Go here! - Great Vegan Food in Tintagel! - Edit
We were not quite sure what to expect as Vega now has one chef for Thur Fri Sat (when we went) & another for Sun Mon Tues, with different menus & we were not sure which menu was showing as a photo on their FB page!

She makes what you order there & then, quality well-flavoured fresh food with generous portions at low prices.
I had falafals & raita, then chick pea, kale and cashew curry with dhal & rice. I would have gone on to have peanut butter cheesecake but had no room.
Go here!
