Fair choice of vegan food - Edit
Went in on a very rainy day for an early cup of tea and found they had a fair choice of vegan options on the menu so we stayed for lunch. Had a Sri Lankan coconut Dahl with salad and flatbread, all very tasty and well presented. My mum had a mushroom Po Boy which was also very good but a huge portion!
Read moreSuper friendly helpful staff. Menu marked up vegan items and in a cosy atmosphere with a small shop with a few vegan items.
Good choice of tea.
Pros: Great tasting food all marked vegan, Super friendly staff, Cosy atmosphere with seating in & out
Cons: Not a huge choice of vegan food, Some food portions were huge!

Expensive and not many vegan options - Edit
I wouldn't want to go in here when it's busy, they've crammed in as many tables and seats as they can, so not much space to move around even with only a few customers a sandwich and a couple of scones took a good 15 or so minutes.
Read moreI know we live in a terrible economy but charging about £3 for a can of coke feels high.
The sandwich was good though when it did finally get to our table. They have some very tasty turmeric and onion seed bread.
Nice thick slices of vegan cheese. Pleasant presentation; sandwich cut into a heart shape. 🙃
I'd probably have given this place a miss if I realised at the time there was a vegan only place just down the road, whoops!
Pros: Nice vegan sandwich, Tasty and interesting looking bread
Cons: Expensive, Quite cramped inside, Not many vegan options

Tasty lunch! - Edit
Reasonable range of veggie & vegan options. The vegan place in Tintagel was closed (not open Tuesday) & we were happy to find this alternative.
Read moreMy (vegan) turmeric bun filled with a carrot & chickpea mix was lovely & hubby (who is veggie) really enjoyed his toasted goat's cheese salad.
There were a few vegan options for cakes but didn't try them. Oat milk for the coffee.
Bit of a wait but we were on holiday, so who cares! Staff were friendly. Price as expected for tourist-ville!
Vegans are reasonably well catered for in Tintagel.
Pros: Tasty food, Friendly staff
Cons: Bit of a wait

Tasty but limited choice - Edit
Went to Charlie's for breakfast today. Not a lot of choice but I had the cinnamon and raisin toast with pumpkin jam which was gorgeous! Will be buying some of that jam to take home

Lunch - Edit
Came across Charlie's while on holiday and needed somewhere for lunch. Needed somewhere without a reservation and food that suited everyone in our family. Staff found us seating and menus right away and the place was very inviting. Had a vegan cheese sandwich which was really nice and quite a big size portion.

Lovely cafe with a delicious soup. - Edit
Really lovely little cafe with very friendly staff. There were a couple of vegan options on the menu. The butternut squash soup with homemade bread so delicious. There was also a vegan cake option if you fancy just a sweet treat.

Good food, amazing service - Edit
Visited here with family on a rainy day in the school holiday, meaning it was really busy, a lot of the outside seating was unavailable, and we just wanted some hot food! Despite the business, the waitress was without a doubt the friendliest waitress I have ever had, and she went through both the regular menu and specials menu with me explaining the vegan options even though they’re labelled! She also explained what they could change to be vegan on non-vegan options! The food was good when it came but nothing extravagant, kind of what you’d expect for the price. My specifically vegan meal did come with butter packets on the side though, which if not for the lovely waitress, would have made me doubt whether the rest of it was really vegan!

Pros: Amazing service, Good options , Value for money
Cons: Butter on a vegan meal
