Vausages - Edit
I tried Vausages at Vegan Campout and the staff were absolutely lovely. I got the Mexican dog without a bun and the flavors were OK. It was slightly annoyed to be charged £1 extra for a bun-less sausage, as it didn’t appear I got any more (or even the same) amount of food as everyone else.

Good - Edit
My sister went here twice during camp out. The first time she got the biscoff baked cookie dough without whipped cream. They’d unfortunately run out of the raspberry white choc one, but she still liked it. However, it was quite small (and really not that rich). It smelled quite coconut-y. The second time was during breakfast. Everyone got a voucher for free hash browns with any main, so she opted for the Cali Green sandwich. We liked that it didn’t come with any sauce as my sister usually has to alter dishes like these because she hates condiments, but you can still get to choose from a nice list if you want to. But more about the sandwich; it was nice but salty. The watercress was very much needed (didn’t balance it out completely). The hash browns were great. We sadly didn’t get to try any of their hotdogs, but they looked really tasty. To be continued!

Hot Diggity Dog! - Edit
Very excited to finally see these guys in Newcastle, after reading some glowing reviews.
Read moreI ordered the Lebanese Dream, with melted cheese and blue sauce on the top, whilst my friend got the Mexican chorizo.
We both really enjoyed the excellent toppings and blue sauce, but texturally, the vausage was more sausage than hotdog. Still very flavoursome and filling though.

The flavour was great but make sure you get a napkin.

Messy but amazing! - Edit
I had the Texas hot dog. It had so much filling so I ended up covered in mustard but it was sooo worth it! We saw them at the Lichfield vegan food festival and can’t wait to try them again.

Pretty good hotdogs - Edit
Finally tried them at a vegan market (they seem to be at every one we go to). We got the momo’s bbq jerk with garlic mayo (which was blue). It was pretty good although expensive and I’d prefer a firmer texture. Also not sure if the fried oyster mushrooms were included or not.

Loaded Hotdogs - Edit
There is a lot that is on the hot dog so a fork is required. Worth it though. Sausages very nice indeed and has quinoa in them

Double patty breakfast bun w/ melted cheeze & fried onions got me fired up - Edit
Got the double patty breakfast bun with melted cheeze, fried onions and garlic mushrooms (all the toppings). Didn’t have to go all out like that but at the same time, I did. Also got x2 hash browns on the side and yes I’m glad I did. Had me fired up and set for the day. Let’s go!

Called in whilst they were at my local vegan shop (Natures Basket, Wolverhampton).

I had one of the hot dogs, burgers, macaroni cheese and skin on fries. The burger was the pick of the bunch (Swiss Stack) but would have any of them next time they’re in town!

Amazing vegan hot dogs - Edit
I discovered Vausages at the Sheffield Moor vegan market in April 2021. We tried the cumberland hot dog which was delicious with garlic mushrooms and fried onions on top (I had gherkins and cheese on mine also) and tried the jerk hot dog too. We had a side of the purple creamy slaw too which was very tasty. We were all really impressed. Delicious. I hope to stumble across them again some time!
