lowkey vegan - Edit
the first time i came here i literally had to google to make sure they were actually plant based bc they are so lowkey about it. it’s kinda cool how they are just a tasty bakery that just so happens to be vegan! so good

So many options! - Edit
This place had tons of great looking options! We went with a peanut butter & jelly muffin that was stuffed with jelly and had a peanut butter topping, a coffee cake, and this bar that was delicious but we can't remember exactly what it was. Definitely a great place to check out if you're in the area!

YUMMMM - Edit
I am a new vegan and not big on baking so I was stoked to find Valhalla online. I got a booberry donut and guava pastry and quite frankly I was blown away. I've had vegan dessert from a place in another state and Whole Foods, but this place is on another level! Both items were delicious and not dry. Depending on your budget it is a bit pricey, but that seems to be the catch with vegan food in general atm until more of us catch on. I will definitely be returning as often as my budget permits😄Also, I was told they have pretzels on Thursdays and saw that they sometimes have vegan weiner pretzels. Thankful to have found this gem!

The Best Bakery! - Edit
Every single bakery item I have had has been phenomenal! Being vegan, options are usually limited for baked goods. Everything is vegan and delicious! I have to limit myself so I don’t go every day to check out the items for the day.

Best Bakery in Saint Petersburg FL. - Edit
Although I have only enjoyed the Plant Based Lifestyle for ten years, my job had me traveling every other week to different parts of the country so I have enjoyed many "Vegan" restaurants and bakeries. Valhalla is by far a standout and my alltime favorite. The fact that I live 10 minutes away makes it extra joyful.

I had the death bar and another coffee flavored one. They were both great! I heard they're going to be shutting down this location and starting a stand-alone shop, though.

Best vegan bakery in the area IMO. I recommend Smores, Brookie, and Death Bar. When you treat yourself you want the best! You can order custom cupcakes and cakes as well.

Okay, their location has different options than their Orlando spot. This was definitely NOT a bad thing. Actually, that was the largest appeal. It was soooo good.

Only bakery serving savory pastries - Edit
I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so most of the vegan bakeries out there with their gourmet donuts, cakes, and other sugar bombs just don't appeal to me. Valhalla has plenty of options for people like me who want savory treats. As far as I know, it's the only bakery that does. This place is so good!! They have chik'n biscuits, breakfast pastries with vegan sausage, egg, and cheese (yes, all vegan), savory scones, etc.

Valhalla is named appropriately! - Edit
Baum Ave Market is amazing. It's the home of Valhalla Bakery, which has vegan desserts and baked goods so good even non-vegans won't believe it's all vegan. Not joking, either. Best baked goods around--period.
Read moreAlso housed in the market, though, is The Twisted Indian, a bar with unbelievable pineapple margaritas, a coffee shop and more.
Outdoor, pet-friendly seating, too, and a beautiful open floor plan interior space. It's chic, artsy, hipster, and delicious!
You might miss it if you're not paying attention, though. It is the white building across the street from the famous (and also delicious) Bodega walk-up restaurant.
Pros: Lots of amazing vegan desserts!
Cons: You will want to buy everything.
