Bakery
Small business bagel shop and bakery that makes all bagels in house every day. The menu has bagel sandwiches, several spread options and a few coffee and teas. Vegan cream cheese is made in house for any bagels or bagel sandwiches and has an avocado bagel sandwich and occasional vegan baked goods such as cookies. Also has peanut butter and a house-made jam as additional vegan friendly spreads. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-2:00pm.

Amazing Bagels - Edit
All bagels are vegan (outside of the ones with cheese). I had the plant Pete on an onion garlic bagel. AMAZING. Sad I haven't come here sooner!

Bagels - Edit
Tasty vegan breakfast sandwich made with just egg and impossible sausage. Has oat and almond milk for coffee. Only negative is there is an upcharge to make bagels vegan.

Amazing! - Edit
We came here while visiting St Pete and my boyfriend and I were kind of embarrassed that we kept coming back there every morning because it was that good! Everything on the menu is 10/10, you can’t go wrong. What I loved was the breakfast bagel with impossible sausage and I made the eggs scrambled on it. You can also sub for vegan cream cheese on anything!

Bring back homemade vegan cream cheese - Edit
Love the bagels and the toppings. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Ambiance is cute and relaxing. I don’t go here as much because they switched their vegan cream cheese to some store bought brand that tastes like coconut based. Their homemade cashew vegan cream cheese was sooooooo much better. Bring it baaaack😄after all there is quite a vegan community in st pete

I live in the neighborhood and I frequent Pete's multiple times a week. The bagels are delicious, I recommend letting them know if you want it toasted, and if so, how toasted. The vegan cream cheese, while it may no longer be homemade, is really tasty and cheaper to buy in bulk at Pete's than at a grocery store. One of my favorite's in St. Pete. Everyone is really sweet and pretty much knows my name or order by this point.

No Housemade Cream Cheese - Edit
They still have vegan cream cheese (from taste I think it’s violife) but I wish they would bring back their house made vegan cream cheese which was SO much better.
Read moreAll of the bagels that don’t have cheese in them are vegan.
The millenial Pete sandwhich is also vegan.
They normallly have a vegan pastry option as well.
Great atmosphere, good place to meet up with friends and browse the attached general store.

Disappointing - Edit
Mediocre bagels. Vegan options limited and not very good. Not worth a second visit.

Don't make their own vegan cream cheese anymore - Edit
This place used to make a delicious cashew-based cream cheese. You could get it on your bagel there, or take a tub home with you. It was delicious!
Read moreI went in there this morning for a tub and some bagels, and was so disappointed to get home and realise all i had bought was a giant tub of Toffuti.
Super bummer 😕
