A Must in CDMX

Thanks to Happy Cow we found this amazing little place. We loved it. Their pizza was the best! The staff spoke English and were super welcoming. Great service, great food. Can’t go wrong.

Pros: Cozy and laid back atmosphere, Food tastes amazing , English speaking staff

BEST vegan empanadas

This place was around the corner from my B&B. It's tiny with a few tables but very cozy and comfortable. I ordered off the menu baked spinach and 'cheese' empanadas and baked mushroom empanadas. The guy literally took out flour and started making my empanadas from scratch. It's the BEST empanada I've had in my life! Love, love, love.

Pros: Fresh, Healthy, Delicious

Cons: Tiny restaurant

Stylish modern little restaurant

Easy to find with a not too big menu though still enough to find a great variety of different meals. We had caprese, empanadas and a hotdog. Everything delicious (loved the cashew cheese in the empanadas and the topping of the Hotdog!!), only the portions were kinda small.
Unfortunately, they don’t have any desserts but we asked for another Place we could go to and got a recommendation for Pan Gabriel (all vegan, sugarfree & glutenfree bakery - also highly recommended, got a chocolate hazelnut Donut for dessert :P).

Service was friendly and english was no problem. Would come back if we had more time!

Pros: good Location , fast and fresh food

Cons: No desserts

Hmmmmm

I don’t know what to think , we ask for 3 things ( one after the other) and they didn’t have any of the dishes that we wanted, so we settle for a hamburger and was good but not great, needless to say I was so disappointed, service was friendlyish but didn’t compensate the lack of food .

Pros: nice place , location

Cons: didn’t have any of the food we wanted

delicious and loved by my non-vegans family

I'm the only vegan in my family, but was able to talk them into trying this plase. One bit of the empanadas and they were hooked. Everything was delicious and the pizza was not lacking in tatse despite being 'cheeze-less'

Pros: delicious, friendly staff

Cons: limited menu, small place

Tasty, few choices and small portions

Had empanadas - delicious! It is a shame they don’t have more types of food to choose from.

Okay food, bad service

Ordered the salad of the day. Horrible. It was three whole leaves of lettuce, with canned corn, olives, and vegan ham sprinkled on it. No dressing, no flavor, very small, and 65 pesos. Presentation was horrible. It's like they didn't care. Ordered half Hawaiian and half Mexican pizza. This was decent and worth the money for sure. Service was slow, they didn't acknowledge us or give us menus for five minutes. Gave us drinks we didn't even order. If you're going, only order pizza. Otherwise it's not worth it.

Pros: Good pizza, good portions

Cons: Bad salad and service.

good food, small space

We got the pizza mexicana which was really tasty, along with the water of the day, which tasted a bit like horchata, so it was awesome. I really enjoyed the pizza, and my Omni boyfriend liked it too. I went there expecting to get something besides pizza, but they didn't have a menu del dia that day, which looks like a great deal when they have it-$99 for soup, salad, main dish, dessert, and water. The waiter recommended pizza, so that's what we did. Pretty satisfied with the food, and would return again. The setup is quite small, and they've chosen hipster style over practicality when it comes to the seating, so expect to sit on a low antique chair at a regular height table, or at a table for two that isn't large enough for two meals and a drink.

rico, bonito pero lento

Servicio lento, muy lento. Muy amable pero muy rico. Lo mejor fue la chapata de setas y el menú del día es muy accesible

Best burger I had in Latin America

I was not impressed at all with the pizza, but the quinoa burger is hands down the best I had in Latin America. So grab one with a salad or 2 if you are really hungry.

Pros: Amazing burger

Great!

I tried the quinoa burguer and it was just tasty and amazing, and since it was so tasty I also got a mushroom empanada and it was very nice.

I definitely recommend this place, the food is really good. If you come hungry be ready to wait a some time (depending on how full the place is) because the food is freshly cooked and you can really notice the freshness when you eat it. Just great.

Go for a pizza but have patience

I would love to tell something different, but their service is really slow indeed. Being the only guest at first I ordered a pizza (and took the best seat, namely the red armchair), then one by one other guest came and the location was full before I got my order, no exaggeration.
It wasn't the best vegan pizza I ever ate, but still pretty good. I was delighted by the home-made lemonade though.
Apparently it can get crowded, although the place isn't even that small. Luckily there is a bench in front of Utopia, where you can wait if there is no seat available at the moment. Happened to two guys whilst I was there. Actually I didn't order any dessert because of that; since I was the guest who sat there longer then all the others, I imagined the waiter wanting me to leave.
Most friendly staff by the way. Would go there again anytime.

Pros: good value, great staff

Cons: slow, can get crowded

Quinoa burger omg

On advice of the extremely kind waitress I ordered a quinoa burger with guacamole. It was absolutely divine!! The place is very cutely decorated, small but charming. Service was very quick and the staff was very kind and attentive. The water was served in a jar and tasted lovely

Great comfort food

The service IS slow, regardless of the amount of staff. The reason for this is that nothing at all is prepared, they make everything at the moment.

There is nothing I don't love about their menu: pizza, mushroom pops, ciabattas, hot-dogs, and my VERY favourite- the quinoa burger.

If you're in a rush, don't order a pizza.

Pros: Delicious, All vegan, Cozy and smooth ambiance

Cons: Slow

Very cozy and the food rocks!

I will give it 4 stars for the following reasons:

- The service was ridiculously slow (but it was a really full saturday afternoon and they're currently understaffed, they were very apologetic about it and I understoond) Nonetheless it did take them an hour to bring me my salad and another half hour for my pizza but it was worth the wait!
- The salad, although delicious, was absolutely DRENCHED in oil.

Other than that, the location is lovely, the staff kind and open, the decorations wonderful, the seating super comfortable and most importantly the food is GREAT! Definitely a model vegan eatery. And they have an adorable wall covered with vegan messages that is perfect for pictures! A must-visit in Mexico city.
