Cafe with nice atmosphere! I got the green curry and my partner had tacos. The tacos were definitely more flavourful than the curry but it all hit the spot 😋

We had three dishes while at Veguisima. The Chilli con Carmen Burrito, the Tacos (Lentil, Tofu, Cauliflower and Beyond Mex) and the Enchiladas. The Burrito had a cheese crust which was super tasty and had a good spice level to it. The enchilada was really nice and soo was the Cauliflower and Lentil Tacos. Would go there again without hesitation.

Delicious and spicy vegan Mexican - Edit
All vegan with all outdoor seating underneath a canopy of plants. Really cozy atmosphere and attentive service. We tried the Al pastor burrito and the chilaquiles. Both were excellent and quite spicy! Really great depth of flavor to the sauces and the vegan cheese was so tasty and as close to cotija as I’ve had since going vegan. We went back for breakfast the next day and tried the Mr. Brown and Taro and Berries smoothies, which were so-so. The berry smoothie didn’t taste much of taro and was really icy. The Mr. Brown was too bitter.

This was a disappointing experience. I went with a group for dinner and we started with garlic potatoes for the table. What came out was a small bowl, barely enough for 2 people, of undercooked and under seasoned potatoes.
Read moreWe all had burritos as a main, and the portions were small and had too much cabbage and carrot in the filling. I had the beyond meat option, and it seemed like it was just a hamburger patty added to a burrito and there was no sauce and little to no seasoning. My friends tried a few of the other options with similar experiences.
We got the brownie and the ice cream for dessert though and that was absolutely delicious! For that alone, I brought my rating up from a 2 to a 3.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re going for dessert. I felt mislead by all the good reviews, but prices were really high for the quality and portion size. I left hungry.

this was my favourite. I only had the chipotle burrito (rice, spicy lentil chipotle thing, banana, pineapple etc) and it wasn’t the cheapest but it was a very decent size, super filling, and the most delicious vegan food I’ve had in México so far.

overall great value for the quality as none of the cheaper places hit this high. friendly staff, nice little seating area, and the menu has a lot of options for meals, sides, drinks, and snacks.
I’ll definitely go back if I return to the city

This was probably one of the best meals I had in Mexico City! It is true that it is a little more expensive than other vegan restaurants in the city, but I thought it was worth it for both selection and quality. The portions are pretty generous, too.

Read moreThe only thing that I wasn’t sure about was kombucha made in house and served with a bit of salt and chilli. Clearly I’m not mixing since it threw me off 😅 At the same time doesn’t adding chilli and salt to pretty much everything means that it’s truly authentically Mexican?
Anyways, I’d definitely come back and recommend to others

I’ve been to the restaurant twice and both visits were 50/50. The food is really delicious and the outdoor seating is great. They share an online menu with the café/bar next door. The first time I had a bowl, which was small but good. The second time we ordered the tofu scramble and the breakfast burrito. The burrito was amazing! But the scramble was really tiny (see photo).

Great food on Christmas Day - Edit
Mostly outdoor seating but all covered, which was good for us on a rainy Christmas day. The one waitress was quite busy with many hungry vegans to serve but performed admirably. A nice hot mushroom soup kept us warm and a very uniquely textured brownie left us curious as to what it was made of. Yummy tacos.

One of the few restaurants open on Christmas day. We came here when it was raining and there was no indoor seating, so it was quite cold.
