Great cafeteria atmosphere - Edit
I ordered the chili glazed tofu. It wasn't too spicy. I got the garlic potato and pilaf rice sides and they were good. Nothing special.

Cons: Food wasn't that savory., Use condiments to make up for lack of flavor.

Fresh Real Food - Edit
I have been to Urban Plates here and in MD at least half a dozen times. Food is clearly marked as vegan. I usually get a plate of sides and then have enough for a snack to take home for the next day. There is usually one main dish that is vegan, and there are seasonal options for sides, and the soup is also good.

A couple good vegan items - Edit
I had the plant based bowl which was super fresh and flavorful, it comes with beets and avocado and seems really healthy so it’s a good option. The tomato basil soup and bread is also really good and they have a few vegan sides like herbed potatoes and broccolini. They also have a tofu plate that I haven’t tried that looks good. Overall, a solid choice for lunch.

Not the Best for Vegans - Edit
This place has lots of vegetarian foods, salads, and vegan soups. As someone who doesn't really like salad, I tried the tofu curry braise instead. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of tofu, but this was pretty good! It along with a couple other things are marked as vegan on the menu to make it easy to make a selection. The restaurant is cafeteria-style, so it's easy to make sure there's no cross contamination in your food! My friend who was with me tried the tomato soup, which is also vegan, and said it was very good. If you wanted , I'm pretty sure you could just get a plate of sides, since many of their sides are vegan.
