Fantastic experience. Had the BLT burger and the nacho platter. Food was outstanding. I've eaten at plenty of vegan restaurants across the country over past 20 years and this one ranks up there with the best. Generous portions, including the toppings to nacho ratio. Probably about 15 other customers there at the time I was (which was a Tuesday at 6pm) and service was fast and friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe of the place too.

Good but stale bagel and underwhelming oatmeal - Edit
I got the bagel with carrot locks. The carrot locks were good but the bagel was stale. It may have been stale because I let it sit for a couple of minutes before eating but not sure. It also may have been stale because it's gluten free. My dad got the oatmeal and it was a little underwhelming (a little dry from the looks of it). Otherwise good place with good coffee. Also, organic non gmo doesn't matter stop pushing this vegans. It makes vegan food more expensive and bougie, veganism needs to not just appeal to rich hipsters with Orthorexia.

We had a group of 6 and even though the place was small we were able to nab a table! I loved this atmosphere! Also the chairs were super comfy.
Read moreMy friends really enjoyed their chili, my husband enjoyed his Poke bowl, and I enjoyed the Mac and cheese. It has a surprising Smokey flavor. It was yummy! I also got a side salad, I wasn’t impressed with their only dressing. (Soy ginger) it just tasted like soy sauce, but I still ate it.

The worst and the slowest service in the world for mediocre food. I waited 40 minutes in a uncrowded cafe for the item purchased. Absolutely ridiculous. I wanted to give ZERO stars. How to give it zero stars- two is too many.

My husband and I visited from CA and was strongly encouraged to eat here. When we travel it is difficult locating vegan restaurants that serve great food. Urban Beets is a restaurant that we highly recommend. When we visit family again we will definitely make this a stop

Visiting Milwaukee, this was the last of the downtown vegan places I hadn't tried yet. Will definitely be back! The Reuben was very good, and the slaw has a secret flavor I wasn't able to place, but really enjoyed. Relaxed atmosphere, quick service.

In town for work, Happy cowed it. I had the Buddha bowl & a Savory juice, both were delicious. THe Buddha bowl had a great beet humus that really added to the overall flavor- bravo. I had the juice on a recommendation from the cashier/ waitress- perfect choice. I feel refueled!! Lol, I will be back every time I’m in town that is for sure!

I go here far to often, but hey atleast I admit it. I’ve had one of their juices, the lox & cream cheese bagel, the avocado toast with coconut bacon, the Poké bowl, the buffalo chickpea pizza (my favorite), the lemon & Macao smoothie bowls. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I love being able to walk into a place and know that I can order anything on the menu. Expect to pay about $9 for a dish and/or $6 for a juice. Their juice & smoothie blends are excellent (I recommend the “immunity” juice, which has apple, citrus & cayenne). Menu gets updated every so often with new items (bring back the Reuben!). My favorite item right now is their carrot lox bagel (cashew cream cheese, smoked/pickled (?) carrot strips and capers), but I also recommend their taco bowl. They just expanded the space so there is more seating available. The food is brought out quickly so it’s a good place to grab something to go for lunch.

Read moreCame here with my crew as a celebration. We all thought our food was great and we're very satisfied. The atmosphere was lovely. The lighting is great, bright fun inspiring atmosphere! Im the only vegan on crew.
They mentioned it's not a usual occurrence to serve 5 at a time. Smoothies came first which I really appreciate.
They are expanding. Construction. No construction was going on during our visit. I imagine it happens on closed hrs for costumer courtesy.
I will certainly be back if I'm in the area again!

I went for lunch and had the cranberry walnut chickpea sandwich and a matcha latte with hazelnut milk, both delicious! The place is also super cute, really bright colors and a nice light and airy space. I want to go back and try everything else on the menu- it's fairly small, but all looks so good!
