Best Ramen EVER - Edit
Best ramen I have ever had. Order with brown rice on the side to add to remaining broth! Very attentive staff. A must experience in Kyoto as a vegan!

Worth the trip! - Edit
Insanely good ramen! Best of my life. I had the tsuki and added a little shichimi and sancho (spices you can add yourself) on top. Opted for the fermented rice addition and hardly regret.

Delicious - Edit
I got the dandan ramen, it was so rich and creamy with a hint of spice, plus the vegetable, gyoza and tofu toppings are fun. Well worth the price.

Must-try unique ramen - Edit
This was the first time I'd seen or tried soy milk based ramen and it was delicious. Yes it's pricier than the average ramen place (1800-3000¥ per dish) but it's a very elaborate ramen topped with gyoza and multiple types of vegetables. Large portion as well. The soy milk base made it quite creamy, almost like a Japanese fettucine Alfredo, but with extra spices. Non-vegan partner was also very happy, gave it a solid 10/10. Nice drinks list too. English menu and accepts all major credit cards.

Uniuqe Vegan Ramen Experience in Japan - Edit
When you visit Japan, one of the "must try" food is definitely ramen. And this restaurant definitely fits the bill, as it is an exclusively vegan ramen shop. According to the menu, the soup base of the ramen is made of a unique combination of vegetable and spices.

Lovely place - Edit
The ramens were excellent, the staff lovely and the place comfy. Don’t miss out on the croquettes - it’s a standout! Relatively expensive (¥6,000 for two). The crème brûlée was also lovely.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the Ramen was something I’ve never tried before but definitely did not disappoint. We went back 2 nights in row it was so good. I recommend the soy meat dumplings and the Dan Dan ramen.

Standout "ramen" - Edit
Tied for my favorite ramen I had in Japan, and I'm not even gluten averse. I put ramen in quotes because it almost felt like something else with all the toppings and the peculiar broth, but it was certainly delicious. Better hours than lots of nearby places.

Service not that good - Edit
We weren't given spoons and water. All other tables have them. Very strange. It's in a parking lot where people take the lift up to their homes and the lift is facing my table where I eat. Prices are around US$15-$16. Food is OK, it's not real noodles. It's rice noodles, they are thick and very tough when you bite down. It sits in our stomach and takes a long time to digest. I am not gluten free but the ordinary yellow ramen noodles are easier to digest than these ones. The one good thing is the pretty decorations on the bowl.

Tasty vegan ramen but overpriced - Edit
The ramen was very good! Loads of vegetables, a nice addition in the soy cream that topped it, very tasty broth.

You can feel that you pay a bit for the amazing neighbourhood as well as for the food...

Located in a quiet neighborhood yet not far from the main kawaramachi station. The noodle is very chewy and served just right. Met a very nice vegan couple from Austria there. Great place to meet fellow vegans.

Flavour explosion - Edit
What a great experience this meal was, in a way I'm not sure if I would entirely call it ramen, maybe closer to a laksa? However that doesn't change how yummy it was. We got the dan dan ramen to share a long with a bunch of sides. The best thing were the steamed soy dumplings (like dim sum). The ramen was great and the noodles were so fun, by adding the different spices does turn it into a bit of a creamy curry. Like others have said be expected to wait if you don't come early. We came at ~6:00 and walked straight in, but by 6:40 when we left there was a queue. Also definitely try the brulee for dessert if you have room.

Experience should have been better - Edit
The food was great and i spend over $100USD on the food (for 2people) but the service wasn't that great and i got double charge on food that we didn't order. In addition we asked for a bit of soy milk for our coffee and they charged us 200 yen each for 2 teaspoons of soy milk.
