Best vegan creme brulle - Edit
The dessert slapped, they have a vending machine outside that offers vegan sweet treats including their creme brulle. The other food was great too, dumplings and deep fried bits, I didn't try the ramen but people seemed to loveeee it

Delicious creamy ramen - Edit
After reading reviews of people having to wait in line for a long time, I decided to go at 11am when they first opened and it made all the difference. With only about 12 seats, it’s easy to feel cramped otherwise I’m sure. You order at your table using a QR code and they have WiFi there ti facilitate this.
Read moreI ordered the Gekka and it was fantastic! I also liked the soy matcha to drink. I was too full to try the vending machine desserts out front.

Not my favourite but my husband loved it. - Edit
This is a really cute ramen spot in Kyoto. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with very friendly service. We both had ramen and shared the croquettes. For me, the croquettes were my favourite, I really loved the texture but I wasn’t a huge fan of the ramen but that’s just personal taste. I prefer a thin broth when eating ramen but this is thicker using soy milk, making the dish very rich. The dumplings in my ramen were gorgeous though and the different toppings were yummy but the broth just wasn’t for me. My husband loved the ramen though😄

Best ramen ever - Edit
I’d never had soy milk ramen before and it was spectacular! We arrived at about 5:45 and by the time we left there was a good line. Delicious fresh veggies on the ramen!

Awesome Restaurant-Awesome Ramen! - Edit
The soy milk ramen is very tasty and the presentation is just outstanding! I also had a grilled mochi as topping. The deserts are small but delicious. There's also a vending machine just outside of the restaurant with cakes and other vegan sweets. Furthermore the service was fast and very kind. You should definitely check it out if you're in Kyoto.

very good ramen - Edit
Nice place, very friendly atmosphere, cool setup of the dishes; the food is great also in the way it looks. It may be slightly overpriced compared to other similar places. The main man speaks English and the whole thing is very foreigner-oriented. They also sell their cookies and their t-shirts. You have to order via qr code which I had problems with.

Great Ramen - Edit
Really tasty all vegan Ramen and good dumplings. They have a lot of spices to season your dishes as you wish. I liked the fancy system to order via QR Code. It's a bit pricier than most restaurants I've been to in Japan but it's worth it. The atmosphere is also very nice. I'd come again, I eaven bought a T-shirt from them.

All thumbs up!! - Edit
The edamame, the ginger ale, the dumplings, the RAMEN, the creme brulee - all were just perfect! My only minor critique would be that the place needs better chopsticks for the ramen - I had to eventually ask for a fork, because of how slippery it all was. Other than that - YUMMMM YUM YUM!

Best ramen in Kyoto - Edit
This spot was one of our favourites in Kyoto. The ramen is truly incredible. Do be sure to check out the delicious sides, too. The soy meat dumplings and the curry gyoza were a highlight. If you have enough room, the desserts are great too. We loved the miracle brûlée!

Too pricey - Edit
It was good but just too pricey 😵 The cheapest ramen was ¥1900 and the most expensive ¥3200. I had never seen such an expensive ramen and was quite shocked 😲 I wanted to try the desserts but eventually had to give up... I don't think I'll come back soon and would probably not really recommend it unless the person I'm talking with is ready to pay a lot 😅😱 there are indeed other restaurants in Kyoto offering delicious vegan ramen at a more economical price.

I got the Yukizuki bc it came highly recommended by the staff, and it says it’s the local cuisine of Kyoto… it was well worth it!! So yummy, and I also got the matcha ice cream. Loved everything about this meal.

So good and such nice people - Edit
We showed up just as they were closing for the night and the guy who was literally locking up ushered us in and said it was ok, even though we didn’t ask (we were just sad). I knew right then and there that this would be a great experience, and everything even got better from there!
Read moreThe soy milk ramen is excellent. It is so rich and creamy. There are a lot of things in the soup which I like; I hate when ramen is 90% noodles and like, two mushrooms. The noodles are very good for gluten free noodles (I admit I find gluten free pastas a bit of a bummer but these had good texture). While I would’ve preferred wheat noodles I liked these a lot. Even the gluten free beer was good!
As things were winding down the staff asked us to order dessert and cash out so they could close the till, but argued with us when we offered to leave to get out of there way. It was so nice. They insisted we not rush even though they were cleaning. I tried the matcha ice cream and it was delightful, and then we left so they could go home for the night.
It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it!

Good, but not worth it - Edit
We came here on a rainy day and it was early (around 5:30-6pm), so we were able to sit right away. There is a QR code at the seat and you scan it to order through your phone - there is an English menu, so it’s easy to understand.
Read moreThe full menu is vegan. We ordered the soy meat dumplings and two ramens (Gekkan and Hana). It’s also mandatory to order one drink per person, and they are quite pricey (the ginger ale was 750 yen!). The food arrived quickly.
The dumplings were tasty, but the “dough” around it completely fell apart, so we were eating basically the filling. As for the ramen, the broth is absolutely delicious and light, and the noodles were very tasty; that said, there were way too many toppings and most of them didn’t add anything to the dish (it actually took away from it IMO). My husband liked it and ate it all, but it really did not work for me (especially if compared to other ramens I had in Kyoto).
Overall this is an ok spot and good if you have dietary restrictions, but I would not put it first on my list.
Pros: Broth and noodles
Cons: Too many toppings on the ramen

Just disappointing! - Edit
You have to sign on a list at the entrance, as the restaurant is always full. (It was okay to wait no topic)

Worth it! Pleasant experience 🌱🍜 - Edit
🍽️✨This is definitely one of the better 🍜 ramen restaurants as we've had Ramen for half the price in Kyoto. Given the amount of work that it took to cook the dish, the amount of ingredients and flavors and the way it is presented, it is definitely fair priced and worth it.
Read moreNice ambiente and lots of herbs to flavor your dish yourself on the table.
🍜 Soy Milk Ramen Flower (1900¥ | 12.3$)
🍜 Soy Milk Ramen Flower (2100¥ | 13.6$) extra noodles
Only point for improvement is imo that they ask for order min. one drink per person which is generally fair. I just think they're to expensive as most are priced north 750¥ | 4.9$ and only Sparkling water is like 500¥ | 3.2$.
Other nice things:
- Nice Sweets | Pralines which suit as present 🎁
🍭🍬🍪 4500¥ | 29$
- Vegan Vending Machine with Desserts
🍩🍰🍪 800-2500¥ | 5.2$ - 16.8$
Definitely worth visiting!

Clean, Green, and delicious! - Edit
This is an adorable little spot right outside of the Main Street of Gion., tucked into a covered overhang by a shoe shop (just a tad hard to find with no street signage when I went).
Read moreFor easy translation, the menu is hosted through a QR code with language options, where you also place your order (so order all of your food and drink at once using this option). Paper menus also available. The staff is wonderfully friendly and attentive.
The Hana Ramen is giant, filling and tasty, if a little bland for my Louisiana mouth with 12 different types of healing vegetables and greens added, but the spices available at the table kicks it up a notch! The croquettes are perfectly crunchy on the outside and potatoey pillow-soft on the inside. The lemon crème brûlée is a small delicacy, juuust small enough for you to avoid feeling guilty about NOT sharing a bite. The caramelized sugar crack on top is perfection.
This restaurant also serves apps, Dan Dan, kid’s meals, alcoholic drinks, and an assortment of desserts. I left feeling energized with a happy tummy and ready to walk all around Kyoto!
Pros: Delicious food, Clean, bright atmosphere, Wonderful staff
Cons: spices probably need be added to ramen

Yummy milky ramen - Edit
Loved this place, had yummy ramen in a creamy broth (admittedly after a long wait, sign said 15mins when we joined the queue & added our names, but was 1hour before we were seated). It's small, friendly and efficient. My son was jetlagged and exhausted so just wanted rice but was sold out so he had some tasty dumplings. Card payment was fine but wish we'd brought cash for the vegan dessert vending machine outside!

Good ramen, long wait - Edit
Had to wait about an hour for a table. The ramen was good, though not the best I had in Japan (that honor goes to Uzu!). The dumplings in the ramen were the best part--wish I'd ordered those as a meal instead.
