Lots of great options- mains and sides. Rice and noodle dishes with tofu and vegetables. Deliciously cooked. Yummy side dishes too.

Ordered miso soup, the tofu teriyaki (with sticky rice and broccolini) and the katsu banana, which all were incredible. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant too.

Several vegan starters and 3 mains - so many choices! I had the chili tofu udon noodles, it was a big dish that included lots of veggies and was very tasty. Also had chilli salt edamame beans to share. Slightly disappointed they didn't have any vegan desserts, not even ice cream.. I made a friendly suggestion that they should get some in!

Really good Japanese food, with excellent vegan choice. They also have specials in addition to the menu online, we ordered tofu bao and veg gyoza. The bao we’re construct your own, so tasty and fresh. We also also had chilli seitan udon and tofu katsu. All delicious, generous portions and fresh.

Highly recommend Umi if you are looking for some great food. There was good amount of choice for vegan options on the menu plus a few more options on the specials board. Some of the best cooked tofu I have had out at a restaurant! Lovely atmosphere inside too.

Amazing noodle and rice dishes served with seitan or tofu with large portions. The vegan Asian fries are lush. Definitely recommended to any vegans living in or visiting Tenby. Staff always very friendly and helpful no matter how busy it is.

Myself and three friends visited on a recent trip to Tenby. We were pleased that such a small place catered so well to both vegans and vegetarians.
Read moreUmi has both large and small plates, so it was a good chance to order quite a few items from the menu to share and try between us all. Food arrives as and when it's ready, which is fine if sharing multiple plates, as there's always something on the table.
I'd particularly recommend the seaweed salad - it's the only part of the meal I managed to get a photo of!

So happy to have found this in Tenby, the menu is fantastic and they offer a vegetarian version of pretty much every meal, most of them vegan too (apart from meals featuring egg noodles). Brunch is served from 12pm-3pm and it looks like there were vegan specials too.

Most dishes are available as vegetarian/vegan option by replacing the meat/fish with marinated tofu. Can book if for a table of 6 or more but otherwise only drop-ins and it's mega popular so may need to wait a bit for a table.
Read moreIt's a relaxed service so allow plenty of time to enjoy it. The dishes all contain several different elements which I love but you have to appreciate this takes time.
