Limited options, frequent misinformation. - Edit

I've eaten here many times over the years. Almost always, the waitstaff and people who answered the phone either did not know what vegan means (but thought they did), and/or gave incorrect information.

From the manager:
- The pizza crust, most pastas (not fettuccine) and marinara sauce are vegan.
- You can order salad, pasta primavera (be careful with instructions), or pizza with marinara and vegan cheese - but forget about any veggies on your pizza.
- ALL the veggies used on pizza are pre-sautéed in chicken broth, except the fried eggplant which contains egg. They will not use any other veggies on pizza.
- If you order pasta primavera, be very clear about "No Chicken Broth" on the veggies or in the preparation, i.e., if you want it with garlic and oil.

With such an extensive menu, it is sad that there are so few vegan options or that the staff is not trained well. We now go to Bramalos in Bellmore, much more vegan-friendly.
