Fantastic Vegan Burger - Edit
ULB CAFÉ (Fusion, Western, Mexican) Highly recommended food.
Read moreWow! The gregarious owner Joe is super friendly, inviting and informative. (See Kelly Veg youtube channel video for examples) Even if they served crappy food I would recommend going there just to meet Joe. But fortunately they have the great combination of Joe and fantastic food!
Joe loves creating dishes and seeing customers enjoy the wonderful array of flavors! He even mentioned that if I wanted something “off menu” I could let him know and if he liked the idea he would make it. But for now I am happy with trying out all the delicious looking entries he already has on the menu.
Any meat or seafood item on the menu can be replaced with vegan duck, vegan burgers made in house, or soy substitutes.
This review is of the Phratamnak café. They do have another café in Jomtien that his wife runs.
Cooking with fresh ingredients, some of which they are organically growing themselves.
ULB is a cozy sized café with seating for about 18 people including patio seating.
Vegan Burger with Fries 295b = Fantastic array of flavors! - option to add cheese – I am not a fan of white flour buns so Joe graciously served the burger in a tortilla shell, he broke the burger patty into pieces and layered them in with fresh veggies, herbs and sauces – delicious, definitely one of the best veggie burgers I have ate in Pattaya! – it came with fries but the fries are from frozen, I am a fan of fresh cut fries so these do not compare, yet for frozen fries these were very good and were coated with a great tasting sprinkle of spices & are fried in healthy coconut oil.
Superfood Smoothie 185b = Great tasting, very thick, loaded with fruits, made with almond milk and Spectra Amazing Grass Green Superfood, loaded with nutrition!
Banana bread = good tasting
