Best atmosphere

I could feel the love radiating from this restaurant. I know so much love was put into the making of the food. Taste was even better. 10/10 would recommend!

Real food!

It's worth the trip. Such a beautiful and welcoming community center with fresh Ital food. Open Wed thru Sat. Great vegan options with different menu choices each day. A block from pier near KFC.

Pros: Kind and welcoming, Delicious food, great variety with daily menus, Fresh ingredients

Cons: A little hard to find

Love.

Uca’a is where I fell in love with Rasta popcorn. Sit in this cultural community center to eat or get take out…I often will sit under the clock tower by the sea. Saturday’s mushroom and tofu kabobs are amazing with the kallaloo and fungi. Lunch plates during the week are great and I love the akra balls and samosa. The best soursop and sorrel drinks too! It’s all sooo good.

Not a traditional restaurant but worth a visit

You’ll walk in and think you’re in the wrong place but you’re not. The setting is garage-like and it’s more of a grab and go. The food is pretty decent, if warmed up it might’ve been a little better.

Pros: Food was pretty good , Friendly

Cons: Looks like a garage of some sort , Food sits out all day , Limited menu

Conscious Food Preparation

UCA is one of the best places to eat if you are into vegan on the island. The food is clean, free of any animal by-products, dairy, preservatives, chemicals and I know they make a conscious effort that it be so. I buy the veggie pates mostly and the popcorn. The burgers, black bean and eggplant are juicy and delicious. UCA, for you culture and historical enthusiasts, stands for United Caribbean Association. It represents the movement for consciousness raising in the community about Caribbean and African identity and knowledge about 'who yo bey'. Stop in and hail up Wala, and thank her for her over 40 years of feeding people clean, healthy and consciously prepared food!
