Beautiful eaterie

I couldn't see a sandwich type offering. But there were great other options.

Pros: Moroccan sausage roll, Other good choices of sweet and savory , All but one bread vegan

Cons: Dear...but worth it

Tasty and clearly labelled

Grabbed some lunch bits: empanada, spiced morrocan roll, and a hummus and red pepper sandwich. Everything in the shop was very clearly labelled for allergens and non-vegan ingredients. Very tasty flavours, though found the empanada a little dry.

In a sea of cakes 1 vegan option

It looked like they had oat milk for drinks in the cafe section, loads of cakes for omnis all labelled with allergy advice. No vegan labels so asked if any options- only 1 double choc cookie.

Pros: Has Oat milk, 1 vegan cookie

Cons: Very limited vegan options

One of the worst experiences I've had in Suffolk...

Now, Suffolk is by no means Vegan heaven but generally, people are sympathetic once you explain your dietary requirements and ask for alterations to existing menu items. I spent a week camping nearby and decided that for breakfast I'd try out this bakery as someone had added it to Happy Cow. Of course, the only option for breakfast (other than two, off-the-menu, savoury pastries) from their menu was Avocado Toast which already is a little disappointing for a cafe in 2021 and upon ordering I was told that there was a little wait for Coffee due to a large number of people arriving at once - side note, any plant-based milk is an additional charge (really?). Regarding the wait, I was absolutely fine with it and completely understand that there are sometimes high levels of demand and I was in no rush to be anywhere.

Twenty minutes later the coffee turns up and I expect the avocado toast to follow shortly. An hour passes and I'm about to get up and ask if they'd forgotten my meal when one of the, very friendly, waiters brings out the avocado on toast. Unfortunately, they'd made it with butter on so I had to send it back; this was despite me repeatedly saying that it needed to be vegan, and therefore, without any dairy. Another half an hour later and the second helping of Avocado Toast comes out without the butter. At this point, I had waited an hour and a half for some avocado to be put on some (lovely) sourdough... not offered another coffee for the delay or anything. I certainly won't be coming back here again and I'd encourage other vegans not to either unless they start to take specific dietary requirements seriously.

Delicious food but limited options

The brunch menu had no already vegan options but the staff were happy to make the avocado toast vegan (ofc it was the avo toast) having said that it was delicious I just wish there was a little more choice.

Pros: Delicious food, Freshly baked bread

Cons: Limited choice

Sourdough pizza excellent

The sourdough pizza was excellent. Pizza is only on Friday nights though but we happened to be about then. Two vegan choices with vegan cheese. They charge an extra pound per pizza (not clearly marked) for that which make them moderately expensive. But they are very good pizzas. I'd recommend. They also have general bakery items. I had a Moroccan type pasty thing. Very good but on the whole expensive. Coffee reasonable.

Pros: Vegan pizza

Cons: Moderately Expensive
