Great Place and Food - Edit
This is a great place with many clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options. The atmosphere and decor is very nice, warm, and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

Kicking myself that I didn’t try this place sooner!!! Cozy, eclectic spot with DELICIOUS food and huge tea menu. Almost 100% vegetarian (one dish w salmon) and a TON of marked vegan options. My dahl and falafel wrap were so flavorful. Highly recommend

This is my new favorite spot in Charlottesville! Incredible vibe that I could just sit in all day long, delicious menu with vegan options marked, comfortable seating, extensive tea list... I feel like I’ve found my people here!

Beyond it's amazing selection of tea, they almost always have a vegan soup of the day, their salads are huge and hardy, and there are several other vegan options on the menu - including vegan cake!

Bohemian Dream - Edit
This place was somewhere I definitely want to go again. This place is not hipster as one review says. Hipster is more new wood and shiny. This gem is old and worn with gypsy charm. There were old games to play like boggle and mancala. Couches and hookah. We chose to sit near the window where we had to take our shoes off to sit on large pillows. It overlooked a brick walkway with many cute shops, maybe more fancy than this place.
Read moreThe food: me and my fiance are both vegan and ordered the hummus platter-cukes,carrots, pita (7.50) with 2 dolmas (1.25 each) and 2 falafel (1.25 each) and the dahl over rice (7.50). The falafel was crumbly but it was still good, probably would order more dolma. The hummus tasted homemade and the pita was nicely toasted. Dahl was on point with nice amount of spice. I liked the sprinkle of cinnamon which was on hummus. We were full after. The teas we got were Bloodbath and Cocoa Rooibos. Flavorful. Ambiance of place really kicked it up a notch.
Finished with vegan brownie because they ran out of vegan spice cake which was my first choice. Brownie was great.
Tip - they stopped serving food at 9 but stayed open until 11pm.

This place is so cool! The interior has a variety of seating including table and chairs, couches, and mats. Very relaxing vibes and friendly staff. The menu has three pages for tea, one for hookah, and one for food! The menu is almost completely vegetarian with a lot of vegan and gluten free choices. Amazing food!

Hipster hangout with great vegan food & loud music - Edit
They have the best chutney I have ever had!! If I could buy a jar to take home I would. I also love their falafel, hummus, and the tea selection is great (just make sure you remove honey and replace the milk with soy if you're vegan) I tried a vegan brownie on my last trip and the 3 other people that were with me agreed that it was the worst brownie they ever had. Said brownie was chalky, gritty like sand, and flavorless. I'm just going to chalk that up to a bad batch, as every other vegan item I've tried has been tasty. They have bands that play pretty regularly and some are really good! Be forewarned that if you arrive before a band is set to play and you're seated near the stage you will be asked to move so they can set up. This is only an issue if the place is packed, in which case you may find yourself without a seat as I did on one occasion. Overall it's a great place to grab a reasonably priced bite to eat and the seating is pretty comfortable.

Yummy falafel! - Edit
First time here and was very relieved at the many vegan options! Started with the hummus platter which was very tasty. Had the falafel wrap with a salad on the side. Was very surprised at how deli oh the falafel was and plenty of food to eat! Would definitely come back!

Delicious and awesome place to hang out! - Edit
I truly love this place. It is a great place to bring a friend to unwind. The seating is comfortable and the decor is bohemian. They have this awesome "twisted branch" tree that scales the wall and has nooks in it!
Read moreThe food...they do serve fish and dairy and eggs. But, often they have this incredible vegan chocolate cake (also gluten free I believe) and it is amazing. Did I mention it's amazing?

Plus, they have vegan entrees which are filling and scrumptious, too!
Of course, they have many kinds of tea that will blow your mind with their flavor punch and creativity.

Tofu veggie tacos for lunch were delicious and reasonably priced. Vegan chocolate cake was a great extra purchase.
