Good for tea time

A bit bigger than the first store. The staff seem to welcome guest more than first one that tend to tell customer it takes time, making customer doubt they don't want to setve. The reason why it gets only three out of five is considering its location and price. I'll give four if it's less expensive and easily accessible.

Cute and fancy gelato parlour

This store is TUTTO's second branch in Tokyo, located about a 15-minute walk from Kiba Station. In front of the store, there is a huge ice cream cone, which is TUTTO’s hallmark, so you can’t miss it.

Since it opened just a few weeks ago, I was ready for a long queue, but fortunately, there were only a few customers in front of me, or so it seemed... However, after ordering, I ended up waiting for 30 minutes just for coffee and ice cream because all the folks sitting out the front were also waiting for their orders. There were only two workers on duty. It was obvious that they were short-staffed. I don't mean to complain, as they were doing their best. I would recommend going at off-peak times during the weekend if you are in a rush.

On the plus side, their ice creams are great! TUTTO offers twelve flavours, including unique ones such as Lavender blueberry and Imo kuri (sweet potatoes and chestnut) amongst others. A single cup costs 550 JPY, and a double cup is 770 JPY. Their cups are made from an environmentally friendly material. They also offer ice cream in cones at a slightly higher price. Also, gluten-free crepes, affogato, a sundae, several flavours of Belato (ice cream drinks), and other beverages are on the menu.

You have to buy a drink if you want to eat at their tables (inside or outside). An ice cream on its own is not enough to qualify for a seat!

I ordered two flavours: the Japanese strawberry Amao with hibiscus and the black sesame with roasted soybean flour. As TUTTO's ice creams are crafted with high-quality almond milk, these ice creams were very creamy and tasty while being subtle in flavour.

All in all, it’s a bit pricey especially because of the “drink to sit” rule!

Having said that, vegan ice cream is a great pick-me-up, and the white and pastel-coloured shop made me feel as if spring had sprung. On my way home, I found myself thinking about trying a crepe with gelato topping next time!
