Read moreRight in the heart of China Town. Metal tables, plastic chairs, squeaky old rusty fans blowing hotairaround, run by old Vietnamese Chinese ladies wearingpajamas. No English spoken. In other words a perfect little local vegan/ vegetarian restaurant. Most importantly though tasty local food at very affordable prices.

Typical local restaurant - Edit
No frills Chinese/Vietnamese local place. No English spoken when we were there but the menu is in Chinese and English with clear prices. Food is as expected basic local food. Wide range of choices.

Vegan eatery - Edit
They have very good banh mi and soup. You can choose from some other items from a stall (various tyle of tofu, vegetables). There is one man speaking english but it’s hard to order precisely. Depending on a day (or if old lady is around) they give you normal chay price or special tourist price (2-3x higher which is equal to decent restaurant).
