The store has stopped serving vegan and vegetarian meals in order to "prevent the spread of COVID 19". I'm unable to follow their logic.

Very good food , fresh and delicious, the price is not expensive and the quelity is very high. I wantes to rate 5 stars but I cant beacause its not a vegan restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to all kind of people (vegan, vegeterian and those who eat everything). Hope to come there as soon as possible

Delicious vegan set meal - Edit
They have a vegan set meal which was very delicious with lots of fresh vegetables. Very friendly service, the chef spoke very good English. We even received a wonderfully had made present when we left.

Kleines Restaurant ohne Karte. Wir wurden gefragt, ob vegetarisch und dann wurde uns grüner Tee und das Essen serviert. Der Mann spricht Englisch, seine Frau etwas weniger. Essen war super lecker und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Nur zu empfehlen!!

Read moreThe owner and chef was super friendly and immediately understood my veggie needs (ovo-lacto) but also catered for my hubby who eats meat.
We had 6 different dishes including miso soup, all veg for me and some fish for husband. It was really delicious food and you can tell it’s all fresh and home made. And all for 1500 yen each!!
The lovely lady who was serving us the food (I think it’s the owners mum), gave us some beautiful, hand made paper picture gifts. Very very sweet and kind!
The owner speaks some English but understands about vegetarianism and vegan food so you can be certain you get a wonderful meat and fish free meal!!
Would highly recommend!!

A really cozy restaurant with an amazing chef and a really nice and friendly women who helps him.
Read moreWe came there, and had only 20 minutes and he created a really nice dish in a short time so we could reach our bus. Thank you again so much, it tastes amazing :)
And thank you for the handmade Japanese cards, they look awesome.
If we are back here some day we will definetly come with more time.
And to everybody who wanna eat real Japanese and even vegan delicious food: go there! You will find it just as good as we did.

Pros: Menu which ist extra made for you, It's made fresh and in front of your eyes, Seasonal food and very cheap
Cons: I would have given 5 stars, but it's not possible , If it is not completely vegetarian, But it deserves 10 stars!!

Delicious japanese vegan food - Edit
The restaurant is a small place, more in a residential area. There is no english menu but the vegan dinner course for 1500Y is advertised in english and as soon as we entered we were asked if we were vegans. We really enjoyed eating here: the food was delicious with all-you-can-eat rice and free water/green tea. The owner is super nice, speaks english and talked with us about our trip. I think he meets a lot of foreign vegan people in his restaurant. Can totaly recommend this place!

Fantastic Japanese food experience. - Edit
Great set menu with multiple tasty Japanese style vegetables, miso soup, rice, tempura, tea, fruit, and soy yogurt. All vegan. Very nice couple that run the restaurant. 5 stars would be more accurate. Price was perfect for a 3 course set menu (1500 yen ~ €13)

Read moreIf you go in for the first time just tell him you read on happy cow that he offers vegan meals and if he could prepare you something :) No need to order from a menu. He simply serves what he has already prepared/at his restaurant.
Don't be worried if you only get 3 bowls at first. He will bring out more later on (I always struggle to take a picture because of this, since I already take a bite before everything arrives).
I really enjoy, that I don't have to order from a menu. This way I don't have to decide and get something dofferent everytime I visit.
Takeda-san is very welcoming to people of all nationalities and has a map where you can add a pin to your country.
Generally a reservation is not needed. If you come in a group with 4 people or more it might be better to ask, especially on weekends.

The guy is very friendly. He knows about vegan food and it was delicious. The rice is all you can eat. I recommend! I wanted to put 5 stars but the app doesn't allow it because the restaurant is not full vegetarian.
