Best. Ramen. EVER!

If you eat anything in Tokyo, eat here. Went almost every day of my week long trip…no regrets.

Pros: Delicious food, Clean, Good service

Cons: A bit difficult to find, but don’t give up!

Amazing vegan food

Vegan food is hard to find in Tokyo but this place makes up for it! Give it a go, it’s amazing - they have solo booths if you’re travelling alone like me!

Pros: Authentic Japanese

Tasty and easy

Fully vegan restaurant with ramen and rice dish options. They have vegan soy meat and dumplings and beer for sides. Really filling and delicious with friendly service.

Difficult to find but tasty food!

We spent an hour looking for this place- it’s in the train station and even when we managed to work that out we still had to pick up a map to find it! It was tasty though and very reasonably priced. I had a rice bowl with some miso soy meat which was super tasty, some gyozas and partner had ramen he said was good.

Pros: Tasty, Quick, Reasonably priced

Cons: Nightmare to try find!

Quick and yummy

Sometimes you need to line up bc many people are transferring at Tokyo station. But you get seated quite fast. T's TanTan was one of the first vegan restaurants I went to back in 2017. At the time, there still weren't many options in Tokyo, so it was a regular go to.
But now I think there are better ramen places.
Still a good price-quality ratio.

Very delicious! A bit hard to find?

It was a bit difficult to find, we thought at first that it was located underground (which was partly our own fault haha). But after some search and buying the cheapest treinticket (it is beter to buy a platform ticket, but we were confused) we found it. We didn’t have to wait when we came around 8 o’clock and the food was absolutely amazing! I was looking forward to vegetarian/vegan gyoza’s for quite some time and found these delicious! Food in Japan is not often spicy, but the Massaman curry was actually quite spicy. Nevertheless we really enjoyed everything.

Decent

Came here after reading all the good reviews and was a little disappointed by the Ramen, both golden and black sesame (came here two days in a row to give the place a second chance). Don’t get me wrong, it’s a decent vegan option and a convenient location when you’re travelling anyway, but for me personally it lacked in flavour and passion. The gyoza were lovely though.

Pros: Gyoza, Convenient location (if you’re travelling), Option to buy vegan instant Ramen

Cons: Lacks in flavour

Golden Sesame Tantan & Rice Bowl

Tantan had super tasty broth with peanut-sauce and some veggies - recommend! Rice bowl could have benefited from more sauce but the included gyoza and soy meat were very tasty. The vegan cheese comes in a ball-shape and is kinda strange. Staff was very sweet!

Delayed Flavour feast

First vegan ramen in Tokyo! Was nice to find ally have some food with a bit of spice. Ordered the black sesame ramen (labeled spicy, it’s not really) and gyoza 🥟

Inside Tokyo station, so you need a platform ticket (¥150) just to access the restaurant area if you’re not coming from the train/metro.

Waited about 25min at 8pm, was a bit annoyed when I finally got seated to see 3 open tables and 4-5 open single spots available. (There was one couple and one single diner queued up ahead of me - we all could’ve been seated with room for more, not made to stand outside the shop in the busy station)

Pros: All vegan , Instant ramen to buy , Flavourful

Cons: Unnecessary wait, Can’t see inside

Excellent healthy vegan ramen

T’s is fantastic! Well worth braving Tokyo station and paying the platform fee. I was amazed at the delicious flavor with the dishes being so healthy. Service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Beautiful vegan food

T’s tan tan is an amazing vegan restaurant hidden in Keiyo Street within Tokyo Station. It is 100% vegan and cruelty free. The gyozas are delicious. The white sesame tan tan ramen is my favourite, but everything in the menu is amazing. They also sell vegan cup noodles to take home!

Pros: 100% vegan, Delicious gyoza, Delicious ramen

Cons: Hard to find

Very good

The food was amazing! The service was friendly but a bit slow. The inside was cute—a great location inside the station. I had the ramen, I can't remember which one but it was delicious. We also ordered a few sides (which were very good): at reasonable prices and large portions.

Great!

Still great. Arriving in Tokyo, haven’t been in Japan since before the pandemic. When I dream of Japan I mostly dream of the golden sesamy ramen and that’s what I had today. Absolutely fantastic. I could eat from this menu twice a day all of the time I’m here. Love the flavours!

Great food

Food was amazing but it was super hard to find for us. We searched the place in the train station for almost an hour (saldy no joke) the Food place is inside of the metro station, you have to get a visit ticket for 150y instead of buying a train ticket to get inside and even then it was not easy to find. #Veganuary

Black Sesame Ramen

I stopped here for dinner after coming back to Tokyo from a day out of town. I ordered the black sesame ramen (1100 yen), and while I appreciated it served to me nice and hot, it was way too salty. I ended up leaving most of the broth in the bowl.

Prices are very reasonable and this can be a very convenient place to eat, so I'll be back. Maybe I'll ask them to make it not so salty next time.

Pros: Fast efficient service, Hot food served hot, Convenient

Cons: Too salty, T's Tantan is in the paid area of the station

Fair

After a long ride on the JR, we were able to find this vegan spot in the station! Great little spot! They have options for anyone who didn’t eat onion and garlic!

Only giving 3 stars because the one I got was not my favourite

It's an absolute delight!

This place is amazing. It serves super tasty food and has the kindest service.
You are even asked whether you have allergies so that they can cope with that!
Great place and I will always come back 😊

Most amazing Vegan Ramen

That we went to Ts Tan Tan twice in 10 days (and came back to Tokyo early for the same) should be enough! But let me elaborate!
It’s a chain of Ramen restaurants which serve 3 types of Ramen (white sesame, black sesame, golden sesame), a rice bowl, veg gyoza and some other stuff.
For us, the Black Sesame is the top pick with a strong black pepper flavoured broth, followed by Golden Sesame (peanut flavoured) and then White Sesame (which is great by itself). The gyoza are a nice add-on!
The staff is very friendly and the outlet is brightly lit!
Just a little difficult to find, given the chaotic Tokyo Station!

PS: it’s on the first floor opposite one of the many Starbucks and near a small
Uniqlo store. You need to be inside the turnstiles to access it (so need a travel ticket or a platform one). #Veganuary

Pros: Black Sesame Ramen, Golden Sesame Ramen, Simplicity of the menu

Cons: Difficult to find

Great food

I had the Tantan Bowl and Massaman Curry. Both tasted great and were inexpensive. The restaurant gets busy in the evenings, so you're better off going to the Ueno one if possible.

Pros: Tasty, Friendly staff, Inexpensive

Cons: Busy
