Finally a vegan Bento near Tokyo Station - Edit
Only one vegan / macrobiotic Bento available, but it’s very tasty and worth the time to find the spot. B1 Daimaru was easy to find, but inside its a bit tricky. The staff was friendly and spoke English.

No vegan bento anymore? - Edit
I don't think they have the vegan bento box anymore. It could be that there were none left, but it wasn't even in the menu card that they have so I doubt it.
Read moreSo leaving this here as a warning to have a plan B in case they don't have it. As I wasn't able to find anything in that whole floor of the station :(
(Please someone reply if they do have it and I'm wrong)

Vegan bento - Edit
Great option if you are in Tokyo Station before T's Tan Tan opens. Food wasn't great but it was nice to have the experience of eating a bento. The lady on the counter was also extremely nice and seemed to know I was looking for the vegan bento before I said anything. It was a little tricky to find though.

Vegan bento!! - Edit
We were glad to find these macrobiotic vegan bento boxes at the Tokyo station! They tasted better than expected, none of the flavours were too crazy. It was nice to have the experience of enjoying bento in the shinkansen!
Read moreThe place was a bit difficult to find, it is a stall among others at the bento section (B1F) of the Daimaru department store at Tokyo station.
