Yum! - Edit
Was really excited to come here as I'd wanted Japanese ramen but was worried about stock/broth in other places. It did not disappoint! Broth was delicious and gyoza great too. My non-vegan husband polished off his whole bowl too. Also it was spotlessly clean and the staff were super friendly😄will 100% be back when we come back to Tokyo at the end of our trip!

Best ramen - Edit
Returned after almost 3 years. Even better than I remember. This ramen has been in my dreams! It is delicious! Recommend the Tan Tan with the gyoza. Do not leave Tokyo without eating here! Avoid lunch time rush around 12-12.45.

Amazing gyoza - Edit
I love finding vegan ramen in Tokyo, and finding vegan gyoza as well really sold me on this place. The ramen was tasty, but the gyoza were really delicious. There were three different colours of sesame ramen on the menu but there was no explanations of the difference between them which I would have liked. The shop was extremely hard to find, even following google maps and other people instructions I was lost for at least 20 minutes. Having to pay into the station was another downside. Overall, maybe the ramen was a little overpriced? But I do understand you have to pay extra for veganism in a place like Japan. I did really enjoy the food though, and my omni boyfriend says the vegan gyoza were better than a lot of meat gyoza he’s had in japan.

Amazing Vegan Ramen - Edit
This place is so cute and all vegan. My ramen was delicious and exactly what I have been craving since arriving in Japan. My omni dad also loved it. Please note: you need to purchase a 'platform ticket' for 140¥ if you are not catching a train but it is well worth it. Also, it can be difficult to locate the restaurant so if you're not sure, I would just ask someone (station staff) where it is or ask where Book Express is as T's Tantan is just opposite it :)

I absolutely love this wee chain. Amazing to go options and the instant ramen you an buy is delicious and extremely convenient when you run out of vegan options. Amazing food and service. Would definitely recommend to get a couple instan noodles for your trip if you’re a vegan.

Just okay - Edit
I thought the golden sesame ramen was good but not mind-blowing. (I've had more impressive Japanese-style vegan ramen in Tainan and even in Taichung.) The experience was severely dampened by the 30+ minutes we spent being lost underground looking for it. If you're not arriving by train directly to Tokyo Station, it's not easy to get to. Plus, you have to swipe your transit card to get into the paid area and then talk to the staff at the turnstiles before you exit to ask them not to charge your card since all you did was go in to eat. Too much hassle for not enough wow factor.

Mostly noodles - Edit
This is a modestly sized noodle restaurant located in a discrete corner of a bustling station. Decor is light and functional with vegan themes and there’s a shop where you can buy noodle pots and vegetable protein. Of course the menu theme is mostly noodle bowls with a few alternative options and sides. The staff are friendly and efficient, food is served quickly.
Read moreThe gyoza has a firm crumbly pastry coat on our first visit and are delicious. The soy sauce was sweet as was the beef bowl, so not to our liking. The Gold-Sesame tantan was a delicious mix of spicy flavours and was very enjoyable, the Shouyu ramen would be our second favourite dish. The massaman curry was uninspired and not worth the premium price.
There was an option of sandwiches, the portion was small but novel and enjoyable. The ice cream was distinct and delicious and also well worth trying.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy noodle bowls. It’s worth a visit just to try the Gold-sesame tantan and gyoza if you are in the area.
Pros: Efficient service
Cons: Limited options around a theme, Some disappointing dishes

Great place for first stop in Tokyo - Edit
If like me, you arrive in Tokyo and then head to Tokyo station, this is a good first stop. Not only because you can relax and eat some good ramen after a long flight, but also because they sell vegan cup noodles. We stock up on them and they always come in handy, especially if you start to venture to smaller places that don't have any vegan options.

Great ramen in Tokyo station - Edit
Echoing other reviews, ramen was fantastic. The only downside is that it’s in the ticketed part of Tokyo station, but you can pay 140 yen to enter the station / not take the train (it is well worth the additional 140 yen in order to eat there even if you don’t have a train to catch)

Good food - Edit
The first time I came in September and the food was so delicious that I wanted to come back to Japan just to eat it. The ramen was great and the pan-fried Gyoza was to die for. The ramen was still exceptional but they only had deep fried gyoza now. I generally hate deep fried gyoza passionately and I can't trust anyone who enjoys deep fried gyoza. So I took a star off for replacing the best gyoza ever with something so awful. If you like deep fried gyoza, probably won't be an issue for you lol. But also, the karaage was cold.

T’s Tan Tan 🍜 - Edit
I originally wrote this review in mid-2017, and it still stands, as I’ve eaten here during several business trips to Tokyo over the years. If you only have one meal you can eat in Tokyo, this would be your place (or Soranoiro Nippon, which is also in Tokyo station).

You will find some of the BEST VEGAN RAMEN on this planet at T's Tantan!!!
I found this restaurant during my first business trip to Tokyo, a 100% vegan ramen restaurant with tons of different soup options!?! Let's just say I was a kid in a candy store!!! But with rich, delicious vegan ramen instead.
All the ramen offered here is amazing, you really can't pick a bad ramen. The broth is complex and the noodles are perfect. Each soup combination is unique and well-flavored. All of the ramens are extremely delicious...when you try their soup you'll be convinced that you've died and have gone to ramen heaven.
During my second business trip I saw that they offered packaged ramen...you know, to help you with your T's Tantan ramen withdrawls once you go back to the States. These little packaged ramens help ease the pain! Hahaha. They are super tasty (though not as good as the restaurant). Sadly, I only have one left. When is the next plane scheduled for Tokyo?!?!??!?

Worth the effort it took to find it - Edit
We had the golden sesame ramen with mapo tofu and the shoyu ramen with gyoza. Everything was delicious (the golden sesame ramen was especially good). We were pleased we had spent the time finding this restaurant while carrying our luggage. There is a place where they put peoples’ luggage while they eat. Service was quick. We would like to come back to try more of the menu.

A vegan oasis in a Tokyo station easter egg hunt... - Edit
a worthwhile place to find for lunch, after learning of its existence on Happy Cow. it is challenging to locate in such a busy station, especially with so many levels and entrance ways. it is INSIDE the station, so do not exit like I did. the restaurant description details here will definitely assist you. my “con” about quantity speaks to the ratio of rice to other ingredients; I would have liked a bit more vegetables.

BEST VEGAN RAMEN - Edit
EVERYTHING is vegan and perfect!! It’s so nice to have a completely vegan ramen shop in Tokyo. The sesame ramens are my favorite. My regular order is the black sesame ramen with a side of soy meat— and we always order the gyozas. The shouyu (soy sauce) ramen is also good. The cup noodles they sell are surprisingly good and one of the only vegan cup noodles I’ve had that are actually perfect without having to season it yourself. Love the vanilla and matcha rice crackers and the mixed veggie juice. Basically I’ve never had anything bad here ever❣️It can be a bit hard to find but just follow the Keiyo Line towards the Keiyo Street food court. T’s is across from the Porter store.

Tasty Ramen for cheap - Edit
We’ve been here 3 times during our stay in Tokyo, I tried a different Ramen every time (you have 5 different choices) and everyone of them was delicious. The service is very fast and it’s really good value for money. The only thing is that it’s inside the station so you have to go through the gates to go there but Tokyo is a very central station so you can plan your route accordingly and make it work so you don’t have to pay extra, bit even if you do it’s definitely worth it! They also have instant noodles, some rice flour cookies and some other bits to take away.

Might have a wait but lives up to the hype - Edit
Cosy getaway from the hustle of Tokyo station, this place is sometimes even worth a detour if you’re feeling in the mood for tantan’s. I went around 6pm on a Saturday and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, but service was nice and fast and the food was hot and delicious. Will always consider stopping by every time I pass through this station
