Overrated - Edit
A lot of people love this place, but I think it's overrated. The atmosphere is great and the service is friendly, but there are only a couple of vegan dishes. (Although the menu changes seasonally, so maybe it was just when I went...?) However, I've been here twice and both times the dishes I've had have been really disappointing. (The pizza was like a wet, soggy sponge.)

It's way overpriced, but I guess you're paying for the atmosphere. Overall, it's a decent option for a nice night out with non-veg folks, but don't go for the food.

For me, the vegan highlights of the True Food Kitchen are the bowls. They also have salads, a vegan burger, and even a vegan pizza, but the bowls stand out. Good service, great atmosphere. Always crowded so you know it's good. Parking kind of a hassle. Worth trying.

Staff is always nice and when ur in a certain spot you can see the chefs cooking your dinner. Lots of vegan options, including lunch/dinner/dessert/drinks. Also has a bar.

The Teriyaki Quinoa, T.L.T., Key Lime Pie and Squash Pie are wonderful vegan dishes. UPDATE: I just tried the Cauliflower Polenta and Butternut Squash Pizza. I highly recommend them.

Reliable for vegans - Edit
There is a TFK in several cities that I visit and I always make an effort to go to one. They are a reliable place for vegans to go with omnivores. My favorite dish is the Ancient Grain Bowl with added tofu -- the pesto that comes with it is great -- my favorite pesto ever. I also like the seasonal butternut squash pizza on the Fall/Winter menu. My most recent trip I tried the seasonal Korean Noodles (again with tofu) and they were amazing.

Went here for Mother’s Day Brunch. Had a vegan version of BLT with avocado. So delicious! Cucumber dill side salad was really good also. My husband had the vegan mushroom pizza and loved it. Great atmosphere, super service. It was incredibly busy, but service was quick and we didn’t feel neglected. Week days they have $5 happy hour specials on drinks and at least 1 vegan appetizer. Great experience, would definitely recommend!

I have been excited to try this place for a while- finally went and was really disappointed in the food! Inside is really cute and vegan options well marked, but everything I tried was just okay, and for the price I expected better. Recommend a reservation because the wait was ridiculous on a Wednesday night!

I love the ambiance of this restaurant! It has that hipster feel to it ya know lol. I came here for dinner on a weekday and was seated outside right next to the heater. This place has a variety options for everyone to enjoy. Everything on the menu is clearly marked whether it’s vegetarian or vegan so that made ordering a lot easier. The next time I’m out with a group of friends I would definitely come back since a lot of my friends aren’t vegetarian / vegan

I love that this place has a seasonal menu! As A vegan or vegetarian you can come here with friends who aren't vegan or vegetarian and everyone gets good options! There is dinning indoors and out, so dogs are welcome. Service accommodates food allergies and special requests. The atmosphere is lively and may be a bit loud if your looking for a quiet/intimate dining experience.
