Love the burger - Edit
I kept it simple and just got the double veggie burger. It’s really good! I was worried it would be a fall apart mess, but it holds up pretty well. Great flavor, complimented by the roasted seasonal veggies. Great drinks, lovely staff.

Slow kitchen - Edit
Good food that tends towards spicy side. Kitchen ridiculously slow - over 70 minutes and got 2 out of 4 entrees wrong. Manager came at 75 minutes to try to apologize. This is my second time here. There was no issue the first time, but this was bad.
Read morePros: Solid vegan options , Nice open dining area , Lots of windows
Cons: Out of many items, Entree took 60+ minutes , Appetizers to took 25 minutes

New style of semi-healthfood - Edit
We forgot about all the new restaurants in KoP, and this one has been around for over 5 years now, sitting all by itself at the mall perimeter near Shake Shack. (Whoa has this mall gotten bigger than ever since the two malls are now connected.) Sort of a younger Harvest, more casual and a little less expensive. It is positioned as healthier food, though for me that would mean no animals on the menu at all, and certainly not steak and sausage. The term grass-fed applied to steak makes me laugh since a steak cannot eat anything, right?
Read moreBut despite my complaints, we were glad to find this on a Sunday afternoon when we were hungry on the way home from Center City. The place was huge and also packed and has an open air porch for when it is warm (parking lot view though). The menu items are clearly marked vegan with a key at the bottom of the menu, a plus since sometimes I see V or VEG and don't know what is meant. Lots of GF too. I wish there were more Vs, but there were enough to make us come back. It is nice to eat vegan food in a chill atmosphere and also have the option of wine or cocktails (or beer). And there are plenty of good non-alcoholic drinks. Aren't we sick of soda and iced tea? I had a delicious kale lemonade despite eyeing the rose gin cocktail. They infuse almost all of their spirits, which is creative, and I saw a guy making big containers of macerated juices for mixing.
My spouse loved his cinnamon hot chocolate and also enjoyed a hibiscus lime iced tea. Butternut squash pizza with almond ricotta hit the spot for me, plenty to take home too. There were desserts which we will try next time as well as those amazing-looking brussels sprouts. The menu changes seasonally.
Super friendly and very stylish staff. If we lived closer, we would go here a lot. I would give it a 3.5 mainly because a healthy concept should have more vegan items, imo, and I wish I could see a vegan menu and not have to pick through the giant menu. But TFK is a sign of changing times, just like Honeygrow and Sweetgreen and Harvest...

Pros: creative Vs in nearly each menu category, supernice staff, hip bright atmosphere
Cons: More Vs needed -- esp for the Rest. Week menu, consider a separate V menu

Delicious! - Edit
Visited last night and the food was delicious! There were 4 of us so we ordered a lot of food, but the stand outs were the Brussel sprouts! We ate them so fast I couldn't get a pic! We also had the charred cauliflower which was really good, the teriyaki bowl (I added tofu) and the double vegan burger. For dessert we had the squash pie (tasted like pumpkin) and the chocolate chip cookies with ice cream. Overall a delicious meal. Oh, and get the apple lemondade!

Delicious take out experience - Edit
Mini staycation and ordered take out at True Food. First time eating at this location; ate at one in AZ several years ago. Hubby and I each ordered an appetizer and main dish. Also tried the vegan, GF, chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Everything was delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious my Teriyaki vegetable bowl was especially because when we opened the container it didn’t really look like much. Hubby had the Vegan double cheeseburger! Said it was so very good! I agree!! The vegan GF chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING! Should have gotten the 1/2 dozen! Will be going back tomorrow to get more!!!!!!

My fave vegan burger!!! - Edit
I love it here because they have multiple vegan options and the food tastes so fresh and the quality is consistent! The vegan burger here is my absolute favorite the patties and the cheese just have awesome flavor unlike any other generic vegan burger! Also love their pizza especially when the mushroom spinach ricotta one is on the menu. The drinks are also super yummy I got the sparkling peach ices tea last time so refreshing! My only criticism is that I don’t love their sides you can get a potato hash or a kale salad with the burger. I am missing some french fries but this place is kind of healthy so I get it haha. Also the restaurant itself is cute theres green benches and a ton of snake plants I love the vibe.

We chose this place to meet all dietary preferences in our party. There were 4 vegan items on the menu. Food was good. I would agree with other reviews that portions are a bit small. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Spacious patio

The staff was very conscious of dietary restrictions. The restaurant offered numerous vegan options. The price was a little high, but not unreasonable. The restaurant had a nice open air feel, but it was a little loud.

Vegan Bowls and burgers - Edit
Wow, just moved back from California. Hard finding good vegan options. The bowls here were dynamite. The vegan cheeseburger by far the best vegan cheeseburger I’ve ever had in my 8 yrs of eating vegan. You don’t leave smelling like greasy food. Very hip, and the staff is very nice. Even the restrooms are designed very stylish. Vegan desserts too. Would give this a 5 star if it let me. #Veganuary

Limited Vegan Options - Edit
For a restaurant that bills itself as serving healthy food, this place had surprisingly few vegan options. Salads, a few sides (veggies, but not vegan, I assume because they add butter?), and a "double vegan burger." The salad was fine, nothing exciting. Cauliflower was good. Overall, quite disappointing.

Very good :) - Edit
Came here for my birthday with my mom and sister. They had many options that either were already or could be made vegan. I got the portobello burger with street corn and a vegan Avocado Key Lime Pie for dessert (it was incredibly delicious). The environment is so clean, the ordering is easy and efficient and involves little to no forced social interaction (which is always a plus in my book).

Terrific! - Edit
I just ate here for Mother’s Day and it was great! It was a bit crowded and loud because of the holiday, but it was manageable and all the tables were spaced out. The aesthetic of the restaurant was really nice. Our server was very helpful and kind. The best part, though, was obviously the food.
Read moreI came with a party of four and for our entrees we got the Teriyaki Quinoa Bowl, Good Earth Kale Bowl (with vegan cheese subbed in), Vegan Double Cheeseburger, and Spinach & Mushroom Pizza. We also got Charred Cauliflower as an appetizer. All of the food was great. We also tried the Dragon Fruit Limeade and Avocado Key Lime Pie, both were amazing.
The part that made the evening extra special was receiving a gift card! Our server informed us that because it was Mother’s Day we’d get a $10 gift card to use on our next visit!
Would definitely recommend!

Expensive For Portion - Edit
One of my big qualms with health food restaurants is that the portion sizes do not match the price. I do not feel the quality matches what I paid for my meal; I also feel like the service is hit or miss. Some of the servers are kind of rude as well.

They won’t let you unless it’s fully vegan - which I get - but this place was so good. Best vegan pizza I’ve had (been vegan 1 year) and the butternut squash soup was insane. Definitely not just a couple obligatory veg options to appease - the dishes were awesome. My server (sat at the bar) and manager were both very friendly.
