Comfortable Char Chan Teng - Edit
We saw this place some months ago when we were in a Grabcar after taking an x-ray of my wrist.

We had:
✅TR6 Kung Po Monkey Head Mushroom Rice RM16.90
✅V15 Claypot Eggplant Salted Fish RM18.90
✅1 TWB White Rice RM2.50
Kindmeal Discount RM3.83
Service Charge (5.0%)
Total: RM36.20
The Kung Po Monkey Head Mushroom Rice was delicious!
The Claypot Eggplant Salted Fish was also tasty. I do think that I prefer the version at Daily Greens & Grains though.
This is a vegetarian place with quite a number of vegan options.
Items with egg and milk are marked. However the dishes with cheese weren’t marked with the dairy picture, so if you’re vegan, be sure to look out for that.
On the menu their mixed curry vegetables indicated there’s dairy, however the one with the rice version wasn’t labelled with dairy. I asked and they said they use dairy but it can be omitted upon request.
I like how the place felt like a very clean Hong Kong Char Chan Teng. The HK vibe is definitely there. However the wooden seats were a bit uncomfortable and it poked into my legs. I had to switch places and sit on the chairs instead.
It was hard to find parking so I parked outside. Later I asked where to park, they said to park upstairs or park outside.
I think I would go back again to try the other dishes 😃
