The owner can speak a little bit of English and he's very nice. I got some shortbread it was delicious!

Sweet, but must speak Japanese - Edit
It was a sweet store selling a few special items. Some imported things. VERY small space. Need to speak Japanese to see how/what special. Sells 100% Buckwheat soba noodles

small store but has a good variety of staples - Edit
They carry a good amount of basics for the size of the store, plus some items that can be used for cleaning (baking soda, citric acid, etc...) They will have an organic or low pesticide-fruit if it's in season, but not a big variety. When I went this time there were just lemons, which was fine because that's exactly what I needed. They didn't have any vegetables at all.
