We order a Valentines breakfast box at home which was a limited offer. The food was amazing and we cant wait to visit the actual place and try more things. Especially appreciate the new offer of daily menu.

A suspicious 3.5*? - Edit
The food was good, and even though both the selection and portions looked very small, I’m leaving the place full. The prices, however, the prices… A portion of soup for 85 and the main meal of a rice bowl with great toppings for 220. There’s a place a few blocks away called Haribol which serves a larger amount of food with a drink for 150. And I think context is really important in a city like Brno where one has so many choices. Nevertheless, Tranquilo offers several niceties: it serves breakfast/brunch; it serves a seemingly (I don’t understand nor drink coffee) higher-quality coffee; it looks cozy and pretty; the staff is friendly; it has fancy silverware and tissues; the water was delicious; and maybe some more. I barely care about any of these, though, so it is a 3.5. I give it the benefit of the doubt, believing that should someone who cares about the aforementioned visit, they would appreciate it.

This cafe/bistro is run by vegan activist family and I love the overall concept. You can see photos of the animals from sanctuaries on the walls and the place feels clean and cosy. We had a breakfast here - pancakes and vegan eggs with sausage, bread and so on. It was phenomenal! Especially the “eggs”. Food is also quite cheap for Brno.

Very nice place with comfortable seating and calming atmosphere. I had a daily soup which was awesome and then pancakes which you can choose what will be on top of it. The pancakes are awesome, fluffy, really tasty. Coppucino is with variety of plant milks. My oat cappucino was epic - dark chocolate taste and creamy. Next time I am going for the hot chocolate 🥰
