Intrigued by the concept of a Venetian sandwich, I made my way here ahead of jumping on the train. All I can say is that they mustn’t have much of appetite in Venice as this was but a morsel of food. It wasn’t lacking for flavour and the bread was uniquely satisfying, but there was no getting away from the fact size was most definitely an issue. Slightly disappointing too that they didn’t have any milk alternatives, though the coffee (small again) was punchy.
