Solid Veggie Options - Not always vegan-friendly - Edit
I love Trader Joe's, but they are sometimes extremely frustrating. A lot of otherwise vegan options will have snuck in some butter or eggs (many breads), or have honey added in (the cheese-less pizza).

Fair prices in convenient location - Edit
This Trader Joe's services a broad section of the Foggy Bottom/ Georgetown population from the hip college budget-savvy students to the more mature crowd looking for quality at a good price. Where to park? Well, you know if you go to Trader Joe's that you will want to stock up on something or another because the difficulty in being at the store and getting to the store means make it worth your while! So, if you bike, you can find some street side bike parking or if you drive, like for all Trader Joe's, head into the parking garage/ lot. Here, you drive under, get a ticket and then walk up stairs or ride the elevator up to shop.
Read moreYou'll enter into the traditional bevy of customers and customer/ commercial displays. It's oh so familiar - either drawing you in or forcing you to quickly make your rounds. As a veg*n, you will find all the staples you seek from fresh to frozen produce like strawberries, oranges, peppers, apples, potatoes, bananas, bagged salad greens, broccoli, beets, onions, garlic and the like. Plenty of prepared foods like salsas, sauces, sandwiches, beverages, dinner, lunches and the like.
Good beverage choices include coconut milk, soy milk, almond milk, juices, iced teas, wine and water. You can also purchase tea leaves and bags, as well as coffee, brewing them yourself later.
Flowers and plants available for purchase, too.
Nut butters, nuts, dried fruits, breads, candy/ chocolate, bars, chips, pretzels, cookies and the like - you can find all of these for the healthful and not so healthful, vegan and not vegan shopping needs.
Just be ready for the huge crowd!
Pros: Selection, Price, Parking
