Well-Stocked TJ’s in the Central Valley - Edit
Plenty of fresh produce and super well-stocked.
Read morePro-tip, avoid Sundays - so many folks and I couldn’t leisurely shop if you’re like me, I’d recommend going bright and early (at opening) - that was my bad, going post-run.
They do carry lots of vegan options and it’s at more affordable prices than some other comparable places.
This particular location is also right next to Plato’s Closet (Rad Second-Hand Retail Shop) which is awesome!
Pros: Plethora of Vegan Options (Hello Vegan Cookies!), Hella Pumpkin Spice Displays (LOVE this season), Friendly Folks
Cons: Super busy on Sunday Afternoon (to be expected)

I loooove Trader Joes - Edit
So many vegan and "accidentally vegan" items here. I go to Trader Joes a few times a month. I love their coconut cultured product (dairy-free yogurt). I also love their SoyCreamy icecream!

Must stop for travelers - Edit
I am in Modesto for work, and stopped in at this Trader Joe's upon arrival to get "supplies" for the week. It did not disappoint, as it had the vegan options I've come to love and a few things I don't see on the east coast. I love the pre-made options with quinoa, lentils, hummus, and the fresh fruit (whole and cut). I easily found quality options for each day's lunch, as well as snacks and a wrap to take on my return flight. Four stars for options, not five because they sell meat and meat products.

I love Trader Joes. The prices are great and I can always find a great variety of vegan food there. The ladies who serve at the sample counter always offer vegan samples because they know my food choices. Very considerate people!
