Interesting and Cheap Vegan Products

Great selection of vegan products. Not just the basics, all kinds of fun stuff too like vegan snacks and vegan instant meals. Trader Joe's is a life saver especially when travelling. I find the prices to be excellent. Great value for the good quality vegan treats you'll find here! If you want to learn which products are vegan, I recommend checking the ABillionVeg app!

Nice range of products

I was happy with Trader Joes - fresh produce but had to watch some things like greens which I felt weren't that fresh. Wouldn't buy the sushi, but their roasted eggplant wraps were nice, they also do a spicy lentil and tahini wrap. Watch the pre-packaged salads as some things have dairy and cheese in them. Cost effective place

Downtown TJs

This Trader Joe's is the most central, smallest and busiest in the city. They are more likely to be out of things than other locations, but it almost always does the job by packing in selection with loads of vegetarian and vegan foods in those small aisles. They do good work to get you through, keeping all checkouts staffed, but if you go at peak hours be prepared to wait for checkout.

The parking lot is shared with other stores in the complex (Bed Bath & Beyond, Nordstrom Rack) and the downstairs lot is often busy. I recommend parking on 9th if the meters aren't running, or going upstairs in the lot. There is also a bus stop right next to the building.

Pros: Convenient, Cheap

Cons: Cramped, Busy

The Usual Trader Joe's Stuff

I've been to so many Trader Joe's, this one offers the same usual items. Not particularly a nice space (I've been to nicer), and the entrance was a bit tricky to find. It's sandwiched between other big stores, so I had to ask for help to find the entrance. Small/moderate size, a bit tight, very busy - typical of Trader Joe's.
