Could have been way better. - Edit

Place was empty when we got there, looked clean but plain. Vegan and two non vegans.

Ordered sweet tea, calamari, veggie hibachi add tofu no egg, shrimp and steak hibachi, shrimp bento box, green forest roll no mayo, sweet potato tempura roll, fried ice cream. Total came out to 98.07.

The sweet tea was great.

Green forest roll WAY overpriced at 14 bucks, didn't really taste good. Sweet potato tempura was under deep fried rolls, I assumed the whole roll would be deep fried. It was not. Rice was very fresh so it was warm on both rolls, they were both falling apart. Ingredients were fresh but the rolls just weren't really that good.

Kid loved her bento box, devoured pretty much all of it.

The hibachi came with miso. We all thought the miso was funny tasting. I got hints of dog food and everyone got a very powdery texture on our tongues.

Husband's hibachi he said was 50/50. He found the dish to be overbearing with the salt/msg.

My veggie hibachi was 10 PLUS FOUR DOLLARS TO ADD TOFU. It wasn't even cooked or fried tofu, it was raw silken tofu. Who uses raw silken tofu in a dish like this? It was like snot, it was terrible. I could def. taste a heavy pour on the MSG. Good in moderation but built in the mouth. Flavor behind everything was good but washed out by the mushrooms and MSG/salt.

After I asked for no egg/mayo/oyster sauce the server picked up on it and was very conscious of my needs. When she delivered the tempura ice cream later with three spoons she went to ask me if I wanted a spoon and then said 'ah, no cream' and withdrew the spoon. So that was nice.

The mushrooms in all our dishes were unclean, the gills intact and full of dirt. The broccoli was huge pieces and very hard. Used to it being a bit crisp but this was too much.

The service was very polite and we didn't have to wait too much for refills.

The place picked up while we were there with several takeout orders and a few other diners.

Overall I would not go back here as a vegan, I didn't find the options very good and my husband wouldn't choose it again. My daughter said she'd go back.

For lunch today (not even 24h later) I tried to reheat my food and it was vile, rancid, totally rotten. That was pretty weird. Had to throw it out.

Pros: Great sweet tea, Easy to accomidate

Cons: Overpriced, Silken tofu snot, Unclean mushrooms

YUM - Edit

The service was phenomenal. The waitress was patient and kind as I asked many questions about vegan options and substitutions, etc. I ended up getting vegan style hibachi tofu/vegetable dinner and they have a vegan white sauce! It was 10/10 delicious and I am already ready to go back, even after having it last night! Yum yum yummmm.
