Nice tortilla place with vegan options - Edit
You find the "Tortilla Casa" on the top floor of the "Promenada" mall in Novi Sad.
Read moreThey make different varieties of fresh tortillas (dought gets flattened and toasted), some of which might not be vegan. Staff speak good English but we were not 100% sure whether we completely understood each other. I mean, who adds eggs to tortillas? Nevertheless, I went with the one they said was vegan. You select all the add-ons, starting with vegan chili (no meat substitute, just beans), different types of beans, guacamole. They have normal and plant-based cheese, and a few sauces. The Tortillas themselves are not easy to eat, as they are filled very full and a small rest of the sauce will stay in the aluminum wrap. There is, however the option to order the filling in a little cup with a plastic fork and have the tortilla on the side, which seemed to be a lot less messy than the standard wrap I had.
They also have nice lemonades that are likely homemade.
