Delicious - Edit
Apparently they are permanently closed as of Oct 1, 2022??? I was around the corner at the convention center for an event and wandered over for a late lunch. I ordered the chikum truffle sandwich just under the line before they closed around 3. Also got some Brussels. The sandwich was delicious, saucey and the bread was phenomenal and crusty. Kind of amazed I got in just under the wire apparently -- and hope for all Vancouver that this is a break and not forever. (Imo they deserve their own kitchen!!!)

Sandwiches and more - Edit
All Ⓥ and all good. This ghost kitchen works out of another (non-Ⓥ) restaurant’s space and it’s pretty smooth. Full of joy and good sandwiches. The ham and cheese is my personal least fav - all the others are rich! Dine in the partner restaurant or seat outdoors on the Coal Harbor patio. You have to order online and use pick up or delivery. Heads up yesterday I ordered at 2p and the goodies weren’t ready for pick up until after 3p (they close at 3p), so that was a very long wait for the sandwiches. Just a heads up that it can move a little slower here but the quality is great.

Best Sando’s Downtown! - Edit
Decided to check out Torn one evening, and we were blown away by just how incredible these sandwiches are!
Read moreWe opted for 2 halves - the Chick’n Truffle Mayo and the Apple Bree. SO much care and attention were put into these… the taste was amazing and the bread fresh and crispy. The owner was delightful and spent some time chatting - just an overall fantastic experience and I’d encourage everyone to check it out!
Just note the hours that they’re open since they do operate on a kitchen share schedule at the moment.

Lovely spot. Really delicious food, fresh baked baguettes. Best bread I've had outside of Europe. Was chatting to one of the owners who is lovely.

Pros: All vegan , Really nice owner , Delicious food (freshly baked baguettes)
Cons: On the more expensive side

Subpar sandwiches - Edit
Toona melt tasted weird. The combination of ingredients didn't quite work out.
Read moreChick'n truffle was ok at best. Standard crispy faux meat with mayo sandwich.
The bread is hard; if you don't like tough bread and crumbs everywhere, you're not gonna have a good time. (soft bread is the superior bread)
Service is friendly.
The food just isn't up to snuff. For $17 a sandwich, expectations are high and it didn't live up to them.
Pros: Friendly staff / owner
Cons: Food

Best sandwiches! - Edit
I had the chick’n truffle sandwich and it was so perfect and tasty. The warm bread was my favorite part! All the ingredients were v fresh and well crafted. The sandwich was so filling, I had to eat the other half later—and it was STILL just as good. The dude who gave us our order was super nice and helpful too. Can’t wait to go back! I want to try the whole menu.

So impressed. Loved the customer service of the lovely human who literally went for a run to deliver our food to our hotel when we found it was a pre-order service. He was so sweet. Very happy to order again!!

Oh... Wow! Can't wait to try everything - Edit
I noticed this place on uber eats about a month ago. I got the chick'n truffle mayo baguette... It was one of the most delicious sandwiches I've had. Not only that, but the presentation was fantastic.
Read moreOrdered off Uber, it came in a sleek black paper bag with a little "torn" sticker, paper-wrapped food, nice thick napkins, and a little greeting card.
The sandwich... omg. The bread was soooo crusty and fresh, peppered cucumber and delicious slices of chick'n... Loaded with fresh veggies. Everything was so so fresh, and I cant wait to try everything. It's a little on the pricier side, so I'd only get this as a special treat... But I understand the price. I cant wait till next time.
Pros: The best damn sammich I've ever had, So fresh, Juicy and delicious
Cons: A bit pricey

Amazing food, awesome service - Edit
We were staying in Coal Harbour and were looking for a lunch option. Torn was only a few blocks away so we figured we’d try it out. We ordered online and picked up a bit later. We went to sit down at some picnic tables around the corner, opened the food and I went to cut the sandwich the man who brought us our food came around the corner and asked if we would like him to cut it for us. He brought the food back quickly with it cut as well as delivering some waters too us. We were very impressed with both the service and how delicious the food was. We had the Chick’n Truffle Mayo Baguette and the French Tabouleh.

Excellent. I’d love to give them 5 star but;
Read moreCovid restrictions make it hard to truly have an experience there as it’s pick up only
Also, they’re a touch pricy for a sandwich.
Though sizes are large so you won’t be left hungry!
Pros: All vegan, Best Mayo on the planet , Large sizes
Cons: A little expensive , Hard to find on maps as location isn’t accurate
