Vegetarian options listed on the menu, need to ask which of those are vegan.
I had the vegetable roll, gyozas and seaweed salad. Gyozas were okay but the vegetable roll and seaweed salad was delicious!!!
The waiter was very attentive to making sure I had selected vegan dishes and brought me ingredient lists of dishes he was uncertain of. Very friendly staff and fun atmosphere.
There are a number of vegan options that include both sushi and non sushi items.
The service is great and the food is good.
Always nice to have options in an area with very few.
Do not be deceived, the green leaf on the menu only indicates vegetarian options, NOT vegan, and their vegan options are really limited. Their tempura batter is not vegan, the agadashi tofu has fish in it, and we found fish eggs/fish remnants in our avocado rolls. Really gross.
Even at happy hour, this place is a bit expensive.
The house salad dressing is spot on. Veggie Tempura roll was fairly good and the avocado was avocado. The tofu appetizer was bland and I will never understand the concept of serving soggy fried tofu.
I LOVE avocado rolls and this place did a great job. The menu for vegans is limited but I'm happy there were options. I really appreciated that the front of the menu gave specific details about vegan stuff. I should've taken a picture but paraphrasing it, the gyoza sauce is vegan but other sauces might have fish in them and the tempura is vegetarian but might contain animal products. I asked about the tempura and the waitress said it's because they use the same fryer for the tempura as the meat. My only complaint is my husband ordered non vegan sushi and got a lot and my avocado roll order was a lot smaller portion. I feel like for the price they should've given a bigger portion. Super friendly service and really cool space, it was decorated very nicely.
This place saved us in an area seemingly devoid of accessible vegan food at the time. They have about 6 vegan items on the menu, and we were pleasantly surprised at how affordable the price was for the amount of food we ordered. The rolls were good, the only downfall would be that the salad greens were pretty weak, but the ginger sesame dressing on top made up for the lack of nutrient dense salad greens. Why oh why must the world serve colorless salad spines, give me the green!
Make the miso soup vegan! I suggest a separate vegan menu. I think offering the separate menu, in addition to including it on the standard menu, would help them get more business from the animal lovers.
We were excited to find so many vegan options here for both sushi and other dishes and happy hour prices that made a sushi splurge possible here. Overall, very tasty!
The only disappointment was that their miso soup wasn't vegetarian.

Good spot - Edit
Not the best, but I have fond memories dining at Tora's on the Oregon coast so I'd happily return

Fish sauce in everything - Edit
Despite 'vegetarian' written on the outside of the restaurant nothing can be made vegan. At least they were honest! Nice place otherwise.

Great vegan sushi! - Edit
They had great options for vegan sushi, and even appetizers. The rolls I had were fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back.
