Eten lekker, bediening minder - Edit
Het eten was echt wel goed klaargemaakt en zag er ook mooi uit. De bediening was iets minder. Hond kreeg pas na 4 keer vragen wat water en alles duurde heel lang.

Alles, bis auf Germknödel und Pommes -habe ich vom Betriebsleiter(?) gehört- wird selbst gemacht! Man schmeckt, dass die Köche Ahnung haben, super abgeschmeckt, kreativ und schnell.

Not great food and bad service - Edit
Honestly, this was the worst service and food we had during our trip in Austria so far. We arrived before noon, so it was still very calm. Before we even had the time to take a seat and read the menu, a very unfriendly waitress came up to us and without welcoming us, she asked us what we wanted to drink. When we wanted to order, she didn't understand us well and had to ask everything twice. We felt like we were bothering her all of the time. My girlfriend, who is vegetarian, ordered a macaroni with tomato sauce and cheese. She had a whole plate full of pasta with a little bit of unseasoned tomato sauce, that tasted just like it came out of a can. I chose the vegan falafel, that came with a small bowl of couscous. The falafel tasted ok, but the bun was like rubber. When we wanted to pay by card, she told us we had to go inside and walked away. Inside, nobody took a look at us. Although we told her colleagues we wanted to pay, they thought it was more necessary to play with their phone. Eventually, 5 minutes later my girlfriend asked for the third time we could pay and finally we were able to do so. Our dog didn't received any water, although their mascotte is a dog too. Not dog so dog friendly after all. Our opinion is that it's way to fancy for what it's worth. We didn't felt welcome at all and the food wasn't great too. We suggest you go elsewhere when you want to eat something.

This restaurant was just amazing. It is decorated in unique style, the staff is nice and quick. They have several unusual options - the tex mex burger was delicious.

Very kind staff, delicious options on the vegan menu. Soja cappuccino, curry, texmex burger, falafel. Everything tasted really good!

New stylish restaurant with vegan options - Edit
New restaurant that opened this season and like most places in the Hochkönig area, they offer several (I think 4) options. We tried the Alpencurry, Falafel in pita bread and the Tex-mex burger - it is not a traditional burger, it has no bun. All these were tasty and nicely served, but aside from the curry, the portions were smaller. I always got fries to fill my stomach on a full day of skiing.
