Great but oily pizza - Edit
We had the eggplant, and the kebab pizzas and they were so great! However they were drenched in olive oil, it was tasty for the first two slices but then the oil became too much.. there was legit a pool of oil on our plate 😂 We had to take the rest to go - the pizzas are big and I would now rather have ordered the half… 🤭

Not sure if because of the copious amounts of mayo! The portion was small for the price and there’s a thing such as too much mayo, it no longer felt like healthy meal! The kale could be more fresh (see photo). I’d recommend adding more ingredients to the bowl and taking easy with the mayo!

I had a quick lunch at Tolstoy. The portion was mid and I thought it was therefore pretty pricey (keep in mind no table service is provided) and the food tasted kind of bland.

I used to be a huge fan of this place. But ever since they joined the DoN's group I feel like the quality drastically decreased. Sadly, nowadays it's a hipster spot like every other place selling bowls and pinsas for quite a high price.

My partner had the Pinsa with meatballs and absolutly loved it (he's not vegan). I had some too and have to agree, it was definetly the best item we ordered. The beef pita and bolognese were good too, but did not come close.

Pros: 1. Meatball Pinsa, 2. Quick service, 3. decent portion sizes and prices
Cons: 1. I did not understand the interior design, 2. Ask for tips, although there are no servers, 3. Drinks are a bit on the pricey side

Read moreWhen I placed my order, I didn't see that I was being charged an additional tip, which is very cheeky. For no good service and poor seating. (Canteen flair)
The pita was really greasy and to be honest the sage was also out of place. The "Mannerschnitten"shake tastes more like bananas
Disappointment for a lot of money.

Nos pareció un sitio estupendo en el que probamos varios platos y postres. Nos pareció que estaba todo realmente bueno la pizza, los sandwiches, la pasta y los tres postres que probamos: tarta de queso, brownie y una cookie. No te atienden en las mesas sino que se pide en una máquina y se paga ahí mismo. El servicio es muy rápido y el lugar era muy acogedor y bien ubicado.

Love the self ordering. My pizza’s crust was fluffy and crisp. The crumb cake was slightly dry but still tasted great. I found most of the fabric seats of the chairs to be stained and old, and it made the restaurant look less nice than the food.

Tolstoy was a quick and easy fab-food-fix! We ordered through a touch screen machine which clearly displayed dietaries (everything was vegan) and price.
Read moreWe grabbed the kebab pizza and a chicken salad bowl type thing to balance out the very unhealthy choice we had made prior. We also decided to send it and get ourselves a spekulatius shake for dessert.
The price was kinda high but we’ve discovered that about most places on Vienna so I guess quite normal?
Anyway the food - the pizza was definitely the highlight, the sauce they use brings it all together. The salad bowl was also a really great choice and felt fresh, and still heavy enough to satisfy those hunger pangs.
A bit of a critique on the shakes - they taste great but they’re served at room temp, which was kinda warm. Really off putting and was a bit of a difficult drink. While there were some good flavours there it’s definitely not worth it at that price point, unless you’re not super fond of ice in your drinks in which case go for your life king

A small place on a busy street. Self-service ordering at the kiosks that also show if something is unavailable. In our case many items were but the meatball marinara and the spicy eggplant were great. The latter one is generously drizzled with oil, so you may need extra napkins if you eat with your hands. :)

Read moreI can only highly speak about the food, very enjoyable, fresh and flavorful.
My favorites are the Pinsas, if i have to recommend, i would recommend the BBQ Meatball one (i am not fan of either however it works like a charm on this pinsa! the flavor combination is great); and my regular is the Olive Garden with Artichoke one.
Desserts and thain noodle bowl are also good.
You can sit down and eat there (location is quite good and close to Uni&Karlskirche; easy to travel there by the Ubahn) or you can also take it away.

Almost empty menu - Edit
Only about 20% of the menu was available for order caused by a lack of staff. There was a few pizzas, one pita, no shakes. We tried the beef pita, and while it was okay, we wouldn't come back for it. The staff, however, was really friendly, and it seemed like the place has potential with a full menu, which is the reason for 3 stars instead of 2.
