Was impressed by the vegan options! Very tasty, everything was perfect. I tried spicy miso soup and katsu bao buns with a black forest hot chocolate. Presentation is beautiful, I will definitely come back

Town-centre café in an attractively restyled old property with a Japanese theme - Edit
Self-styled as "the best Japanese cafe this side of Tokyo", this Japanese-themed café is in the former Woodheads bakery, built in the 1700s.
Read moreIt's independent and is run by two brothers who have a thing about Japan.
They have spent months tastefully renovating the old property.
The café has a vegan menu with miso soup, sesame miso soup, spicy miso soup, katsu curry bao buns, toasted tea cake, Bramley apple hot-cross bun and Japanese matcha affogato.
Sit in or takeaway. Open Wednesday-Sunday.
