Delightful restaurant - Edit
The decor and vibe to make you feel the sense of grandmother's house and home cooking was lovely. The staff were really nice and it was good-sized portions, I felt bad that we weren't able to eat it all. We did take away some food and were able to heat it up in our hotel for next day's lunch.
Read moreWe ordered hummus and breads, to go with the lentil soup that was an off-menu item, and the soup came after the breads and hummus and was massive.
The moussaka was just as delicious as everyone says it is. No desserts, but we were given sugary stoneless olives before we left, which is apparently a traditional Greek snack to welcome people into your home. We'd definitely have gone back if we'd had more time in Rhodes.

Nice little family restaurant - Edit
We had a lovely dinner at Tis Mammis Sou. I had the vegan keftedes (with pasta) and my partner had the moussaka. It was all very tasty, the moussaka was the star of the show. They also gave us a complementary little dessert at the end of the meal. All family owned and they were all lovely.

Read moreThe staff (sisters) were very kind and friendly, very knowledgeable about veganism, explained everything from the menu, including some additional info on family recipes.
Per recommendation, I had vegan moussaka (with homemade almond cream) and it was delicious. My non-vegan partner had standard moussaka and said the vegan one was even better.😄
We also got small dessert on the house, which was really nice.
The restaurant itself is very cute, designed as a "2D restaurant" with all the details following that aesthetics.
All in all, 5/5.

We had a great experience at Tis Mammie Sou! The waitress was very friendly, could speak excellent English and was very enthusiastic about explaining the local cuisine! The food was great and even our non Vegans loved it! The ambience was super cute as well and showed a bit of Rhodos history! Overall a 12/10 experience! Definitely recommend!

The restaurant is somewhat hidden and was surprisingly quiet, but it's definitely a must for vegans in Rodos! Clearly labelled vegan options, including a Moussaka that we ended up ordering because of the staff's reccomendation... and were so glad we did!
Read moreAlthough the location can feel a bit awkward, don't get discouraged. The place itself it's beautifully decorated and the family that runs it made us feel as guests in ther homes.

So many amazing tasing vegan options here, but also a great place to eat for the whole group regardless of dietary needs which is nice.

We booked in advance for a birthday and Mamma had provided a surprise vegan birthday cake with a candle and sang. It was such a personable touch.
The food was some of the best food we have ever tasted, the price was fantastic.
The service was incredible, family orientated and they went above and beyond for you.
Tis Mamma Sou is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited, we will return to Rhodes just to return here!

I have been there many times as the food is always delicious and fresh, they are so kind and it's just worth it,the mousaka is wow, the souvlaki is SO good they season it extra I think because it's so much better than the store bought and just perfect 👌

we adults ate vegan moussaka and the children ate meatballs in tomato sauce with fries, it tasted great and the food was cooked from scratch and with friendly staff. Best meal in rhodos so far.

A very nice waiter told us about the vegan options in the meny. She helped us to combine starters. We had Souvlaki with pita and got a small sweet cherrydessert for free.

A family-run restaurant, which has a great choice of vegan dishes like vegan moussaka and vegan souvlaki. The two sister were super friendly, gave a lot of recommendations and insights about the foods, so you could really tell the passion behind the recipes. I had vegan moussaka, which was delicious. Would give 5 Stars if possible!

Family owned restaurant with nice vaiarity of vegan food. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything was delicious. Offered even a small free vegan desert. Would love to give a 4-star rating, but the only negative point for me was the location. It is a bit mall like with britght lights and sound coming from a bar next to it. If you know that and you are fine with it I can highly recommend it.

This was one of our top two hit list places to eat when in Rhodes and boy did it not disappoint us. One of the few restaurants that clearly knows vegan vs vegetarian with a well signed menu. Friendly staff (it’s a family owned business) who also know clearly what is and isn’t vegan. Food is cooked fresh to order, so it takes a little while to arrive but absolutely worth the wait.

The candied kumquat dessert was a nice surprise and the perfect palette cleanser. I was sceptical, but it was delicious.

Read moreThey had a few vegan options including the vegan moussaka that was the grandma's own recipe. It took about 20 min to come out so it wasn't just sitting there under a warming lap.
She spoke no English and I speak no Greek so I communicated via smiles, thumbs up and air kisses. She wanted me to live it and I did.

We found this place on the last night of our holiday but wish we’d found it sooner. Lovely little place with traditional Greek food. It’s a family run restaurant with the chef and waitress were so friendly. They also prepared a free dessert to give us a taste of Greek food.

Very reasonably priced traditional Greek food with lots of Vegan and Veggie options. The main menu has a few bits to choose from but the lovely mother and daughter who own the business ran us through some additional off menu dishes.
