Give the vegan burger a try - Edit
As we live locally it is great to see that a family pub has a selection of vegan options available. Had the burger twice and it tastes delicious.

It's about time the Chef and Brewer chain started bringing in vegan options, I'm so glad they finally have. The ultimate vegan burger is amazing and comes with vegan cheese - I was so suspicious that wasn't real cheese that the waitress came and showed me the Violife packet! The chocolate torte was also the best I have tasted - a lot of restaurants are doing this dessert now, but this is the best I've found. The pub is also really nice because it's so cozy and traditional. The staff are really nice and friendly. It might be worth booking if you're going at a busy time. It's popular.
