Best food I’ve had in a long time - Edit
I stayed at Holistika, which is the lodging that “houses” Tierra, and I never really wanted to go anywhere else. The ambiance is amazing, especially at night, and the food was so good I had to thank the chef personally.😄A serene vibe.

Located inside the beautiful Holistika space. Tierra restaurant has lots of tables, a gorgeous and green outdoor space. Food os delicious and prices are ok for Tulum. Definitely a must go when in Berlin even if you’re not into any holistic, mindful, etc practices.

Incredible food, friendly service and great location - Edit
We walked to Tierra our first night in Tulum and it’s truly a magical location. The restaurant seating feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, the music is great and the service was so so friendly. The menu is clearly labeled for vegan, gluten free, contains eggs, etc. They also have one side of the menu in English and the other side in Spanish. All of the food we had was so tasty and fresh. The prices felt very fair for the quality of food. We like it so much, we returned for breakfast the next day!

This is definitely a hidden gem! Everything was AMAZING! - Edit
Wow the food, the staff, the atmosphere was incredible.
Read moreGetting there was difficult on bikes in the dark, but it was worth the adventure.
We didn’t realize it was within a yoga retreat when we picked it, therefore they don’t serve alcohol, which is fine but my partner and I were wanting a little more of a night out.
Pros: Delicious food
Cons: Hard to find in the dark

Yum!!!! - Edit
I tried some other highly rated placed and wasn't impressed by the food in Tulum until I came here. The food and coffee was SO good. I had a huge pizza for 175 pesos and coffee for 70? plus free water that was refilled. I didn't feel that was much more expensive than other places (though starters amd deserts are expensive)
Read morePros: Seriously yummy vegan food & good coffee, Lovely place to sit, plus a (free) art walk :), Serves no meat

Over rated- given cheese even after repeated qs and awful service - Edit
I am vegan and gluten free which obviously adds complexity but for somewhere that sells itself on being plant based and conscious I was really shocked that I had to check multiple times (with different answers) about dairy and even after that the order had errors! V limited gf options too with a LOT of fake processed meat and v limited willingness to amend. Awful and slow service too (we’ve been here months so it’s not just a projection of hyped up city life) and dirty tables
Read moreCons: Given dairy, Lack of understanding of ingredients , V poor and slow service

Bad experience - Edit
We were excited to try the food on this place, but when we got into the place the host was not even wearing a mask, tables were wet and they didn’t care on doing a good job on getting it ready for us, one of the waiters was very rude when I ask nicely that we wanted to have space between people because of the pandemic and he just start saying a lot of things that the place was “hype” so a lot of people goes there and if they need it they will put all the people that they wanted with us (no need of all that angry talking) we leave the place and we will not come back, they lose 2 probably clients.

Great dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Recommend the chorizo scramble for breakfast, the cauliflower nuggets and the gyozas for lunch/dinner. Very chilled vibe located in the jungle setting of Hotel Holistika. Decent portion sizes and inexpensive for Tulum.

Great breakfast! - Edit
Gorgeous little restaurant set in the middle of the jungle. It's part of the Holistik hotel, so you go in through the hotel entrance. The restaurant has a really fun bohemian feel to it and the staff is very friendly. The menu comes in both English and Spanish.
Read moreI had breakfast here twice and really enjoyed it. Vegan options are clearly labeled, though some dishes come in both a vegan and vegetarian version, so be sure to specify. I tried their vegan quesadilla and it was so delicious! It came with mashed avocado and a very flavorful (but not spicy) chile sauce. The quesadilla is kind of overflowing, so I wish the dish was two quesadillas with the same amount of filling divided between them, but the flavors were great. I also tried the Cacao Bowl which is a MUST TRY! It's like a chocolate smoothie bowl, but it tastes like dark chocolate and is not overly sweet. Topped with a delicious granola, fresh fruit, shredded coconut, and a dollop of chia pudding. Absolutely delicious! My companions tried the black fiore (their take on eggs benedict) and vegetarian chilaquiles and also loved them.
Overall, highly recommend!
Pros: Tasty food, Cacao bowl, Setting
Cons: Bad coffee
